Jungle guide for NOOBS

I decided to make this guide to help low elo understand jungle. I am currently diamond 5, i was diamond 5 in S5. Even if diamond it's full of bad players i consider myself a great jungler. My mechanics are not the best, you can get atleast platinum based only on game knowledge and not mechanics. Everybody can do this, you just need to play smart. And the jungle role can help you achieve this faster;)

Let's start with the basics. There are 3 kind of junglers: high pressure junglers( elise, eve shaco, volibear,cc reliant junglers etc.), farm jungler (devour junglers) and non-meta junglers aka useless junglers (malphite, nasus, skarner etc.)

Doesn;t really matter what type of jungler you play. All you need to do is pressure the map and relieve pressure from the enemy jungler. The thing is, that you need to understand what type of jungler you play, and how it impacts the lanes indirectly.

If you play shivana or ww,master y- this guys have low pressure on the laners- which means, that the enemy laners can overextend withouht fear of being ganked- which means, they cna push the wave, and pressure your team. F or example xerath vs zed- xerath can push the lane all day long and harras zed under tower. He knows that this type of junglers lack cc and dmg early to kill him. It's your fault, bcs you picked this type of jungler. But, you can still pressure. Thys type of junglers excel at farming:)..so take advantage of this, farm like crazy. You will get levels faster;). The ideea is, when it comes to this type of junglers, they can only pressure by getting faster levels and taking objectives. they can't punish mistakes

When it comes to pressure junglers. junglers that have dmg, a dash, some sort of cc. Well, they can punish mistakes. You won't see the enemy overextending bcs they know they can get ganked by you. So, this means they should play more passive.

How to play your role regardles of your pick. Basic things

Learn to do your camps early-means alot, saving hp early-means you can pressure the map early After you do a gank and get a kill you need to push the lane- deny the enemy xp/minions, regardless of what your lanes says or pings. Push the lane.

There is an exception to this-If the wave is pushing towards you, and your laner wnats to back and TP back to lane- to keep the freeze. do that.

But, most of the time, you should push the lane and take everything. It's not taxing-it's denying the enemy farm and Xp.Ideal, you should give the farm to you laner and take only XP-but this is solo que. play fcking greedy

What do you do when you see the enemy jungler on the map? he just showed on the map, which means, you can w/e you want wihtout worries. same goes for you laners. Now, if he shows top and you are bot side-take his whole jungler, and mabye a dragon;).take advantage of him showing on the map.

You need to understand another thing. You have your own lane as jungler. It's not a good ideea to overgank and stop farming, never a good ideea. You will eventually fall behind. The most important thing for a jungle is XP. All you need is XP as jungler and you are good. Try to get to your level 6 as fast as you can. did your laner just die and the wave is pushing towards your tower? Go and take that wave, fck the camp, the camp will still be there after you clear the wave. Get XP from anywhere you can.And most importantly, since you play vs another player, try to deny him XP. You see him on the map, take advantage of this and take his camps if possible. Why farm your junglem when you can farm his jungle.Use smite on wolves and chickens when you try to counterjungle;)..wolves-gives vision of him and chichens denies him vision.

Ganking is important. but what lanes can you gank? sometimes it seems like you are always in 1 step behind am i right? Well, this comes from game knowledge. You need to know how the lanes will go. For example darius vs irelia top. Darius should win this right? but, he will outpush the lane, which means, it;s an easy kill for you with irelia stun(point and click) Lux vs zed mid. this bitch will push the lane pretty hard, if she decides to overextend and fck with zed-that's called disrespect to you, the jungler. You can;t have that shit going on. So, you need to know how the lanes will go. And this should influence your first jungle route-where you start.

What else can i say. You need to play smart, read the map, read the game, have a plan, and do it.Hope this helped, if you have any questions, feel free to post them here;) I promise i will do my best to give you a proper answer;)

EDIT1: A good jungler is the jungler that is oportunistic. You see the enemy jungler low, and shows that he goes into his top side jungler. I will assume he goes to chickens and try to kill him there. Plays like this makes you a great jungler. Be opotunistic. But, don't forget, the same thing can happen to you;)..so beware of showing on the map with low hp;)

EDIT2: Sometimes the enemy jungler puts more pressure on the map-for example he camps bot, he gets kills. You can do much- but atleast you can take his top side jungle. You need some sort of response to that. The worst thing is to do nothing. Bad games happend, everybody has them. But understanding where you fcked up thats the key to climbing;)

Nidalee jungle is strong bcs she has an insane clear. She is hard to play properly. She can basicly one shot camps:)..she has sustain, vision with traps, can go over walls, and has insane burst. Can pressure lanes by just trowing spearss, and if they hit-you are dead.. She is hard to play thow

I don't think this is knowledge just a jungler should know.. I mean, i main jungle and i know this stuff myself.. But a lot of time my laners don't. Sometimes it creates friction in the team because they are expecting things that I know for a fact I cannot make happen.

As a somewhat new-ish player (been playing for almost a year) and a primarily support main, i will do a list of my questions.

  1. Do you still get attitude from laners for not ganking when they want you to?

  2. Is there certain champs you don't think should jungle?

  3. What should you do when your mid laner let's their lane opponent roam into your jg early?

  4. Do you think it varies on champs on when you start ganking?

1- sometimes, but i don't care, i just play my own game 2- WW needs a rework, i find him the most useless jungler 3- report him:)). You should always look at the map to avoid surprises;). And if mid roams and gets nothing and your ownd midlaner stays and farms mid. He is ahead:) simple 4-Sometimes, yes. For example, jarvan 4 can gank at level 2. Shivana needs level 6 powerspike to gank. Or Quinn jungle. It's not a bad ideea to farm untill 6 and get that insane mobility;)
