Singed with Deathfire Ruin is ABSOLUTELY Stupid!

I played singed a lot. and faced him few times. mainly before this patch. but man. I just faced one. and I know how to play against singed. avoid him. right. no. it only takes one time for him to do his stupid throw behind the back. and my health just gets absolutely destroyed. at level 1-6. destroyed. i bought merc treads. didn't do much at all. deathfire ruin is an absolutely overpowered item. it does more damage than the actual ability itself. thats fucking ridiclous. he can literally build ap and ad and get the bonus damage from the ruin each second. I mean for the love of god wtf. and I was using nasus. i was depending on my 10% lifesteal for sustain but it was really useless. i am not rage commenting. but am just commenting on the ruin itself not singed because i play singed a lot and I think he needs a buff but that ruin is absolute horse shit.

sorry i meant keystone not ruin. or ruin am not really familiar with those things that much its called deathfire. the amount of damage per second dealt he was doing was absolutely ridiculous as both AD and AP damage factors in. I believe its 50% AP and 10% AD. something like that. so hes basically getting AP scale TWICE for the same ability. how does that even make any sense?

6 + 50% Bonus AD + 20% AP over 3 seconds. AoE and DoT abilities apply half the damage over 1.5s

Deathfire Touch Mastery

yeah sorry am retarded.

Half the damage over half the time, so effectively the same damage per second. I can see how it would have incredibly good synergy on Singed.

MunchCrunchLunch2 votes

exactly. means its equal in damage because EVERY time the gas hits you that damage is applied so its equal to the regular hit effect over the period of 3 seconds because thats how singed Q works.

My point was that you had the ratios backwards.

You thought it was 50% AP and 10% AD.

It's actually 50% Bonus AD and 20% AP over 3 seconds.

its ridiculous. hes basically getting a sated devoure. no. its even better he had 1 ap item. hell if he gets rabadons and a cpl more items he will fucking wreck havoc and his total damage would make everybody else not visible in the graphics. its stupid.

Singed with Deathfire Touch will be doing 3+10% AP per second for as long as you remain poisoned and for 1.5 seconds afterwards. He probably won't have too much AP (probably RoA/Rylai's/Seraph's, for about 300), so it'll do about 35 damage per second once he's full build. In the laning phase, though, it's only about 5-6 extra damage per second, which isn't terribl oppressive.

go read the stats please. its 6 + 50% AP + 20% AD

MisterHealYoGirl1 votes

And for AoE abilities or DoTs, it's halved. We can tell from Singed's interaction with Rylai's and spellvamp that his poison is both.

MunchCrunchLunch1 votes

no no. its halved but the damage per second is the same so it doesn't matter since his attack is PER SECOND.

No, it's not, read the patch notes. They clearly say it's 6 plus .5 AD and .2 AP, dealt over 3 seconds and halved for AoE and DoT abilities.

MunchCrunchLunch1 votes

are you retarded? .5 is 50%. and .2 is 20%. WTF? ARE YOU FOR REAL?

I could ask you the same question, since in the original post you said that it scaled with 50% AP and 10% AD. My earlier math was incorrect, however. On AoE or DoT abilities, Deathfire Touch does 2 (+16.67% Bonus AD) (+6.67% AP) per second; if you take six seconds worth of damage from his poison (meaning you were in it for four seconds), the total damage that Deathfire Touch would deal is 15 (+50.0% AP). Lategame, assuming that Singed has about 300 AP (RoA, Liandry's, Rylai's, some scaling AP runes), it'll add about 165 damage over the course of his whole combo. Of course, that's if he reaches six items; in early laning, when all the AP he has is a Doran's and maybe a Blasting Wand if he doesn't go for the sustain of a Catalyst, six seconds of exposure to poison will only add about 25 damage from DFT, compared to 325 damage from the poison. It's about an 8% increase in damage, when all's said and done.
