Is akali a low skill cap champ?
Or is she another champ with hidden skill caps like Katarina or what? I get she's memed for being "get to level 6 and kill people" or whatever but it's a serious question.

She has a low learning curve but medium mastery curve.
Mechanically she's binary and straight forward, but to actually succeed she requires a little decision making. Most of her mastery curve is related to understanding matchups (given she's melee vs. ranged a lot of the time) and trading (she has a more fighter playstyle rather then assassin.)

Akali takes "low skill" to a whole new statchecking level.
Akali doesn't require much mechanical skill to play, but what makes her harder to play is her teamfighting. So many Akali players get fed only to fail lategame thinking they can dive 1v5.
The same can be said for other champions like Yi and such.
She's Diana with a much better early game and slightly worse late game. Otherwise the teamfight playstyle is very similar.
Personally, I can't play her at all. Her play style just doesn't work for me. So for me she's a high skill cap champ because I just can't play her.
