I've been trying her out, and from three games of play testing, I came to a tentative conclusion maxing w is still the best move. She's pretty fun, but I feel a bit more limited in high intensity situation were you cant afford to wait for passive. aka fed adcs, especially because your a shorter ranged mage. So I end up running around in team fights and after lane really being kinda useless. But in lane your harrass is insane with wq combo, just land on them when they in minion wave, then combo it to insta-clear and maybe go all in with e if they are still close.
I played a few bot games just to test out her kit. (doesn't give me a totally good idea where she is balance wise)
I do some what agree that her sidgel is makes her vulnerable at the later stages, especially against DPS. But I would think that should be off set by her additional deception tools. (The general idea with the Assassin rework was to also give Assassins the tools to survive the extended burst window.)
Personally I prefer her E when it comes to harassing opponents. Since it can apply the Sidgel and dentonate it with one spell. Giving you a Large chunk of Burst, and leaving your remaining spells to decide if you want to finish the job. (Not to mention you want the E root if your Jungler is ganking.)
Her W-Q combo is cool, but i find it slightly clunky. Partially since her Q only moves to sidgled targets, and that her W isn't a Huge AoE. I guess I just run into problems trying to hit the whole minion wave.
