Why can't minions pop Caitlyn's traps?

To my knowledge, they can pop all other traps in the game (Shrooms, Jhin things, Shaq Boxes, Nidalee's trap). I get that she's meant to be a seiger, but good Caits can effectively cut off the entire lane, making it next to impossible to CS. And trying to position around them is walking into a death trap if her support is anyone except Soraka or Sona and can CC them in some way (Theoretically, she could be able to force them into a position for CS where Blitzcrank could pull)
