The villain

Hey look im fed and i matter much now ... i need to get our team and do my best to win the game since its now on my shoulders

Suprise garen comes ... and deals true damage to you usualy an amount that darius would wish to ever have when it was magic dmg a hex drinker easily removed it from the game ... but when thats a true damage it is a guarenteed kill on a target with 1/4 of their hp 1/3 for squishies (base damage ... duh)

that mechanic has no place in this game ... just like irelias stun it punishes you for winning

overall the new juggernaut's im not sure if its a good thing while darius seems fine since he didnt get much of a change ... and his damage got actualy nerfed so he doesnt wreck people garen now destroys you if you are better than him ... because lcs big plays morde gets a fun minigame on botlane where he is bullied and oneshots people with his 3rd q strike ... because unfair gameplay is a good thing while skarner will have a weird time being ballanced ... should he suck when he has no spire or should he be unstoppable when he has one ... anyway due to the nature of his crystals someone will have a bad time of unfair fights unless they will make spires obsolete

it's very conditional and he had to pay with most of his W to get it.

Also, as long as you stand near and ally or minion, his E deals the same damage as his 5.15 version.

so he lost 2 seconds of greatly reduced damage

for capability to kill enemy carry just because garen and win the game

i think someone should reconsider whether he pays enough for that

1- He lost tenacity and %AR/MR, not the actual damage reduction. 2- He lost time on his ms buff

1+2 means Garen is more kite-able than he ever was

3- To hit the carry he has to get to the carry. He's melee and fairly immobile. If a melee champ with no dashes and no CC, and only a short and small MS buff manages to reach and stay close enough to the carry to kill him your team either sucks, they have no peel, your support is asleep or your carry sucks.

4- There are tons of carries who can deal with or escape from garen on their own. He lost his tenacity so even a simple slow will do the trick, provided he already used his Q

This guy never played Garen before if he thinks his W was only 2 seconds of damage reduction.

thats pretty much what i think most of the time when i play garen. and for the first time in a very long time, i feel that i can actuall do that.

he could around midgame. by 30 minutes was his main power spike. past 30 minutes he massively dropped off. even when he was far ahead previously.

now his early game is weaker, but he doesnt fall off anymore. meaning you cant just rely on him not being relevant anymore if you stall enough.

hes basically now in the same boat as lategame carries like irelia, jax and nasus. ignore a garen winning his lane and it will come back to bite you in the butt.

your comparing a long cooldown stun to a short cooldown run. After he escapes he simply continues to run

But the garens ultimate damage didny changed, only it turns into true damage at some point.

But really, you cant kite him? I could do it with any champion already, with new rylai ap carries without cc could even kite him. Unless you are playing twitch or MF, you are able to kite him with almost every adc in the game.

I CANT KITE GAREN BECAUSE I PLAY DARIUS (with bc i maneged to kite the fk for like a minute ... then i was oom and still far away from base)

its not about garen chasing adc's its about garen being simply insanely good at destroying whoever carries the game for opposing team

the only counterplay to this is for yourteam to intentionaly give kills to your support so garen cant kill you

pub stompers arent the only ones who get kills tho so i think that its more of a shitting on skilled players than on pub stompers
