Am I the only one who thinks YGB is too strong?
On a serious note,
is way too damn strong. Why go
when you can go YGB that gives you the same amount of damage, but has CDR and armor penetration?

i think it's fine, if anything appears to be overbearing its
, way to strong of an item early game imo.
Well if the LCS commentary is anything to go by. On Lucian in particular, the Ghost blade/black cleaver, and his ER/Caster Crit build, have very different power spikes. The Ghost blade and Cleaver build offered much bigger power spikes in the Early game, thanks to it's gold efficiency, as well as the tank shred from BC. While the crit focused build offers way more late game power with that scaling crit.
If these two builds are balanced around each other, then the favorable one would be based on the meta. whether early, or late game power is preferred. Perhaps the GB/BC build is too powerful simply because snowballing is too reliable.
I also mention Lucian because that build heavily favors casters who can benefit more from those items, and less from crit chance. And for Lucian, that's honnestly fair, Even though he does benefit from crit chance, He doesn't benefit as much from AS, so he really can't conform to a standard ADC build. At least not compared to a normal DPS Hyper carry.
The BC and YGB build for
is insane. Yes, it's all depends on the preferences. But Lucian is too favored at the moment. Every game it's always a Lucian. Mostly BC/YGB now.

I'd be careful about that statement. In the LCS, Lucian is a contested pick up yes. But his Runner up would be caitlyn.
If Riot decided to tone down the top 2 ADC's from the LCS, I'm positive people opinions on them will differ greatly.
I would agree. Lucian did get a nerf on his Q recently, but why give him a critical on his R?
to entice people to build items like reaver etc. probably.
The BC/YGB is still going to overpowered the ER/IE build.

Not sure, most of those changes got pulled if I recall.
They also worked his passive so that it didn't crit on the second attack. (Which also got pulled.)
I'd imagine that, Riot may be having a problem with Crit lucian having an unhealthy relationship with ER. That would have been a problem if his ult had the ability to suddenly critically strike.
They might rework his ult so that it scales off of crit chance, without actually triggering crit effects. But the fact that they are experimenting with this means that they do want his crit build to be a bit more powerful. (in a more healthy way.)
So RG decides to make his R critical? so that we can go the ER/IE build? I thought Lucian second hit on his passive doesn't critical?

Meddler already commented on saying YGB is stronger than Infinity edge. The infinity edge adcs Jinx caitlyn tristana suffer because caster adcs are stronger atm thanks to ygb
Yep.
