Am I the only one who wants most of the Preseason stuff to not go live?

I'm not saying it's all garbage. Some of the New items seem really fun, changing flat ArPen for Lethality will probably do some good, new Ali looks pretty good. But apart from that I think most of the changes seem to be pretty damn bad.

Zed getting a reason to tunnel vision on the ADC even more. Rengar getting extra snowbally. Akali and Shaco getting Olafed and being sent to Urgot's club. Those goddamn plants. The random changes to the jungle (like every goddamn year).

Is it just me or there are others that think that most of those changes should just be scrapped?

May be your opinion but I'm actually excited for the changes. Its new and different. Keeps things fresh and fun.

Sure there will be things that make me wanna rip my hair out. But what season doesn't have stuff like that?

I'm really excited for some of the changes. New Talon and Kat in particular look amazingly fun. However I think that most of the changes seem to miss the point and be huge mistakes.

With the whole "If X becomes a problem we will just hotfix it on the spot" thing going on with DQ and Duskblade who got to roll around for so long, it makes me a bit aprehensive that no matter how shitty something may be, Riot will push it foward.

Yea Rengar will be broken as hell with this. And I'm not even taking into account his other abilities...

I agree with Rengar getting even worse as far as snowballing, and Akali and Shaco reworks being terrible (but i believe Riot can and will fix these).

I am excited for the new jungle changes, the new items, and I am waiting to actually play with the Plants before I make an opinion on them.

Back in season 3 Olaf was a bit over the top and Riot had some problems balancing him out. So they gave him what is now known as the Azir/Kalista treatment: Nerfed his nordic ass into the ground. The changes sent Olaf from Pick/Ban to worthless in one patch. All of his abilities suffered huge nerfs. He basicly became useless for the following 9 or 10 months. It was bad enough to turn "getting Olafed" into an expression.

Oh ok, that makes sense. Shouldn't the term be changed to "getting Kalista'd" though? Olaf is completely viable and really strong nowadays.

the jungle changes, plants, shaco/akali are dumb as hell

i'm pretty hype with everything else tho. especially cuz most of the item changes are a straight buff for juggernauts

I'm looking forward to most of the changes.

Akali is the only one I think will actually suck.

I think the Shaco changes are actually good but he will for sure need his numbers buffed a bit.

Rest of the assassin reworks look good.

New assassin items are cool and gives Assassins more things for their item builds than just damage.

I don't care about plants one way or the other but Smite Buffs weren't very interesting so I won't miss those.

You aren't. Even though I am not opposed to changing things, I would still like to spend some more time with the game in its current state. I'm fine with at least seeing how the changes will work out.

I mean, I play ADC and immobile 'power-house' mages pretty much exclusively. So I am not looking forward to the assassin update AT ALL. Some of them do look fresh and fun, but their single target assassin capabilities look pretty much awful for anyone who likes the roles I like lol.

I agree that the some of the updates went .. differently than I had expected and plants sound a bit odd (though I have yet to play with them), but I am trying to stay positive about it.

Like you I also think the Ali changes look rather nice.

if the assassin reworks turn out to be too weak or too strong they will be addressed accordingly, people not wanting their reworks to come live pretty much is saying "i want this champions to never be able to be balanced properly". If riot does nothing after the reworks come out then you can bitch all you want about them but just before it's even live? that's not going to happen

Unpopular opinion incoming: Barring Akali and Shen the vast majority of you are getting your panties in a bunch over things that probably won't be all too bad, and if they are, WE HAVE SEVERAL PATCHES BEFORE SEASON 7 WHERE THEY CAN GET FIXED.
