After winning a 4v5, I get champ select trolls. Why is nothing being done about this?

Just won a 4v5 where first pick says "Mid or AFK" and locks in Draven. People below didn't see, so they picked mids and supports. In game, we ask Draven to go bot, he says "nope bye" and leaves. The guy was S4 Diamond.

Regardless, we play it out and we win in 28 minutes due to me heavily snowballing mid (former support; we put the original midlaner bot to 1v2) and top.

I joke around with my duo that we are getting long queue times because they're finding the absolute worst feeders, toxics and ragers to put on our team.

Sure enough, in the next champ select, we get a guy that says "mid or top". 2nd guy says "mid or top". 3rd guy says "mid only". My duo can't jungle, is last pick, and I'm a jungle main at first pick, so I take jungle. We get 3 melee AD assassin picks and nobody picks an ADC or support.

I dodge that instantly because a team of 3 AD assassins is inferior to a balanced comp 4v5. Now I am being punished for being the team player and not trolling.

Why is there no way to punish these people? Why can we not report people in champ select or not able to vote-kick obvious toxics? Why are trolls and instalockers getting away with ruining games or forcing dodges while the people affected are punished?

It is absolutely ludicrous that I get people like this 2 games in a row. Everyone has, at one point or another, been affected by this garbage, and it is frankly extremely annoying that it is the non-toxic players who get punished for this and the toxics walk free.

That's odd though. You're a duo, right? So there's 5 players, so there's three of them, right? So, you're a jungle main and see that you've got people fighting over being top/mid, so you picked a tanky jungler right? Good so far. Then, well, then your duo does something weird.

Then you've got your duo, who also sees this and knows you're jungling. Now, you might be able to persuade one of the three people who wants to be a damage dealer to be an ADC, or you might not -- who knows. But, instead, your duo picked... to not be support? That's literally the best thing for the team and probably the only way you could maybe salvage the situation. Instead, it sounds like, they went with an AP carry or AP top laner despite knowing that you have three people already who would like to go mid/top. Heck, your duo could have gone as an ADC and offered to do a kill lane bottom with one of the assassins; it can work sometimes, and is better than being trolled.

But, yes, dodge those games. However, also work with your team to try and build a good team comp. It sounds like this was a combination of frustration on your end and jerks on the other end, so dodging was the right choice. But, if you're last pick and don't pick support when it is needed, then you're just as much the problem.

My duo could support, but they all picked melee assassins, because they DON'T want ADC. No, a kill lane bot is not gonna cut it. Yes I have won with them, but that's because they actually wanted to play a kill lane bot. These guys do NOT want to play a kill lane bot.

or like a sivir who gives up in champ select because he still doesnt understand how to play the game

Probably because an automated system wouldn't work effectively, ie. Tribunal, and there's ten's of millions of players, so individually sorting it out wouldn't work. It's not just an easily fixed problem ;/

Why can we not get a single free dodge for crap like this? Or ANYTHING to remedy the issue of champ select trolls?

I've lost my last 3 ranked games because of trolls on my team. I am so pissed off I can't even stand it. And I was 2 POINTS away from a series at 98, and now I'm down to fucking 36. So mad.
