What if we had Jungle Quints for bonus monster damage?

5% additional monster damage per quint, for a maximum of 15% with 3 quints.

For comparison, most junglers start with less than 70 ad and 15% bonus damage would be worth about 10.5 ad discounting base damage (since the vast majority of the damage is just raw auto attacks)

Also, most junglers don't have any attack speed from runes or masteries, and 15% bonus damage is worth 15% bonus attack speed in that case, and you get precisely 15% bonus attack speed from attack speed quints.

So why take the jungle specific runes if you can get the same damage to monsters at level 1 with other quints? Because they scale harder for specifically damaging monsters. No other reason.

These runes are for champions that have a really hard ass time clearing the jungle even AFTER their first back.

Think about how fast the junglers that already have good clear speeds would be able to clear the jungle then... It's one of those cases where if you try and give an item/rune intended for someone (Low clear speed junglers), it ends up being too OP for another (junglers that are already good become godly)

Also, I think most junglers TAKE atk speed in their runes and masteries to help with clear speed...at least I do on my Vi, and Panth, and...

I actually thought about that, and it turns out to not be a problem and here is why:

Because I can take those super fast clearing jungler like shyvanna, yi and tryndamere and clear the jungle so fast that I'm just waiting around for the next camp to spawn-- usually about 10 seconds or so.

If they were 15% faster you would still be waiting about 30 seconds, which means you don't have enough time divert your path through the jungle to make a gank and come back without wasting spawn time.

So yes, I've already thought about how fast junglers that already have good clear speeds can clear, and it isn't a problem because they already clear too fast for their own good.

In order to get a clear so that you can "pile up" all that time into one uninterrupted length of time you'd have to wait for the entire jungle to spawn and then go clear it in one burst. But waiting for the entire jungle to spawn wastes a lot of jungle spawn time, and sets you back far enough that the 15% faster clear speed doesn't make up for it.
