Pantheon Rework Ideas

Pantheon q becomes a "javelin" skillshot similar to varus's q; it damages multiple targets for up to a moderate range - not long range like nid spear or varus q at full charge.

Pantheon w becomes a 2 part ability - true to the spartans of old, pantheon forms a (1-man) "shield wall". This blocks the next enemy attack or ability similar to fiora parry - but only 1 ability/aa. Second part - pantheon - having absorbed the enemy "charge" retaliates by doing a short charge for moderate damage - throwing the enemy back or lunging towards them. If he knocks them into terrain, they become stunned for a short duration and take additional damage.

Pantheon e - "this is sparta" - pantheon kicks his opponent to the ground - they are slowed for a short duration afterwards and have reduced armor while knocked down. Alternative e - spear thrust - pantheon thrusts his spear in a line causing moderate damage, temporarily amplifying damage to any targets hit, and slowing them.

Pantheon 4 - keep largely the same except 2 things: 1. allow minor adjustments to ult location while in flight but decrease impact radius - so panth can adjust the location of the center of his impact zone by maybe one radius length in any direction from it's original location for the first half of his ult travel time. In compensation to his opponents, the impact radius would maybe be 2/3ish of what it is now. 2. deals physical damage instead of magic damage (base and scaling would be adjusted accordingly)

All he needs is his Q to be a skillshot, nothing more, nothing less.

Agreed that's all he would need; however, the w change I recommend would make him scale better, add more ways for a good panth to set himself apart from the rest, and fit the whole Greek nature he is supposed to embody. I know my e isn't maybe the greatest idea, but the q,w, and r changes would be really nice for both panth players and/or opponents. It adds counterplay with the q which - as you say - is much needed. I already said how the w would improve him. And the ult would scale better with his items - making it scarier if he lands it, but also making it so he can't just toss it anywhere in a general direction and be sure to hit someone.
