Queuing with a team you won with, doesn't always mean you'll win another game.

TL;DR on the bottom

So, I've come to understand a few things during my time in playing League over the years. You ever had that one team that you just synergized with so well with? Everyone played perfectly. Everyone responded. Objectives were taken. The game was just a slaughterhouse. You won by a landslide, the team surrenders at 20 and the score is 17 v 1.

"Finally! A team that understands me! A team that actually knows what they're doing!" You might think. "Surely if I queue with the exact same team in the exact same way with the exact same champions, we'll carry each other all the way to plat! And they're so positive too!"

So what happens next? Your top laner dies first blood because he attempted to play just as aggressively as he did last game and during that moment, you find out that your once super friendly and funny top laner, is actually an incredibly rage heavy player who immediately starts flaming about how BS his death was, and immediately falls on tilt and starts to ask why he's not getting ganked. Your mid laner does end up getting a kill, but they start getting camped by the jungler so hard that their kill doesn't matter. And you and your botlane are getting wrecked by the Blitzcrank/Jhin. In the end, everyone did not get what they were expecting. This was not the perfect team they thought they had.

Everyone immediately leaves and removes each other from their friend list and you're left sitting there wondering why everything was so different.

The truth is that a perfect team doesn't exist. It may seem to be perfect yes, but there are far too many variables that prevent 'the perfect team' from happening. (We're not talking about Pro teams. So we can't say that the perfect team would be the team that wins at Worlds)

Let's think back to the first scenario. Same champions and same players on your team and same champions on the other team, but let's change the players around.

Your super aggressive top laner is now fighting someone who knows how to deal with it and your top laner now is chasing kills over and over instead of farming up. The other top laner now is focusing on farming and backing up and then, the jungler shows up and now your top laner is dead and everything snowballs out of control.

In the end, you don't want to add players to a queue simply because you won a game with them. You do it because you enjoyed their company. They were fun, they were positive, they were a people that you wanted to be around. If you just try to get the exact same team because you want to get a free win, chances are you're setting yourself up for a rude awakening more often than not.

TL;DR: Queue with players you meet in solo Q because you like them. Not because you won a game with them. Or else they may end up being a toxic jerk when you're losing.

I have a policy with other random players of, "Alright, cool, we won. Now let's never play with each other again so we don't find out how bad we are." Although I also try to avoid queing in groups of 4&5. Doing that with players you don't play frequently with is typically a death sentence when you get matched against people who do.

You don't need a full team, just another person who knows what they are doing , this is why duo Q exist.

On the contrary, in my experience, a team that works well works well again... Until someone changes character and just feeds their dick off. It's always a bit suspicious when the nasus top suddenly locks in zed, despite no mastery. When we queue up as the same exact team, with some flexibility when it comes to counterpicks, it's usually either a very close game or a win.

Well see it's not so much a matter of winning or losing with the team of players. It's more so just avoiding being friends with someone JUST because you won. Honestly the best players I ever met were the players that I lost with yet they were positive through and through.

I Qed with a dude who I carried through the jungle last season. We won a few games and he had his friends with him, as soon as we hit a match up where I couldn't carry the flame come out "omg this fucking Graves" "WHY AREN'T YOU FIGHTING WITH ME WE COULD HAVE WON THAT 2V5!"

I don't enjoy playing with groups of "friends" much anymore. The "we do wtf we want and fuck you" attitude is guh.

Conversely I've met a few supports that tickle my pickle and we synergie well and usually win stomp lane when when we play together.

When I look for people to add to play with I try and look for people that think like me and play like me, because synergy is key. Idc who they are I want to play league. When I want a good mechanic I don't go to my buddy becuase I like him, I go to a good mechanic. When I want to play league I want to play with good league players.

Nothing warms my heart more than baiting in the lane and seeing my jungler skip a camp to come gank without me saying a word, or turning for a baron take and having one or two people race me there without ever a ping. These are the people I add. Game knowledge, map awareness, yum. I don't even care about mechanics or skill, if you can macro like a boss and go in smart on objectives and roams I <3 u and we can play again.

Being prone to tilt doesn't make someone inherently toxic lol

When I tilt, I either afk farm or hide behind my team and try to contribute as much as I can without dying because if I die again I'd prob quit the game. There's never a reason to be toxic.

No. But it's what you do during your tilt that makes you toxic.

You cannot be tilted and not toxic.

There's a middle ground here. I add players I meet who I like and who I think are skilled and work well with me.

There's a lot of things to that. Maybe they played mechanically poorly, but they made all the right calls. Maybe they followed up on all my engages. There's a lot more to deciding to add someone than just "they were fed," because yeah, they're not gonna be fed at the start of the next game.

Basically, my policy in a nutshell is, "Don't hesitate to add people you think might be good teammates, or to remove players who you find out aren't."
