It's a long CD in the early game. Bait it out, and get jungle ganks. A fizz that doesn't snowball will become useless. Hell in the early game you don't even need a jungle gank to deal with him if you know what you're doing. Fizz isn't overloaded you just don't know what you're doing.

You don't have to push the lane. If you want to push you can also roam, or fake a roam. Your job against any assassin is not to win lane, but to make sure they don't win lane/get fed.

ward and pings will do it good map awareness is one of the keys to succsess
