Allow players to pick for teammates in champ select

Not everyone has all champs, and that's fine. Not everyone is willing to trade, and that's also fine. Still, some games are very dependent on champ select and your position is much more important in some games than in others. I've been in games where our solos were the first two picks while support and jungle were last two picks. This gives one team the edge before we ever step foot on the rift, and I believe this is somewhat unintentional.

So what I propose: Allow players to select a champ for a teammate even if the champion is not owned by the player selecting the champion. When selection a champion with the intention to trade, create some mechanism where two players can agree to a champ swap before it is locked in. Essentially, let two players "pick swap."

This would hopefully allow for more competitive games at higher elos, while remaining (probably) underused at lower elos. It would especially help people who are duoing together but one player does not own every champion.

I agree completely. People will say Riot wants "money" or people to buy every champ, but that isn't a good reason. If we want to play the best game we can, this form of system should be allowed.

Of course, there needs to be a better way to cooperate. Since I often like a later pick even as support. But that is mostly because solo laners at my ELO don't counterpick. I would give up an early pick if someone was really set on a late pick.
