Muting toxic players, pings still hurt

Whenever I mute someone in game, I do not care what they have to add to the team. When I mute them, it is literally the last straw, as in it is beyond the point of reconciliation. Why can the person that JUST called me retarded or autistic or a N***** continue to (?) Ping me for the rest of the game?

I want them muted forever. Mute their pings, mute them in post game, if I block them then NEVER pair me with them again.

I need to know that my choice to mute someone matters and that my choice to block someone matters.

A lot of people will mute someone because their typing tilts them not because they are being harassed.

That's fair but how can I mute that player's pings? Can we get a "mute ping" function for players who use it them spam/harass players as well?

the concern riot has with this, is many players, myself included, simply mute EVERYONE regardless of toxicity. because of this. riot has to let muted players still ping or else people run the risk of not being able to communicate with thier entire team, simply because the whole team just automuted them

Then you won't be able to receive crucial information from them. This isn't going to happen.

I've made it known that I don't want any part of their information. None of it is crucial to me. The pings they use aren't actually telling me anything, they are simply pinging my champion a few seconds apart so as to not trigger the "you are issuing too many pings" message.

Usually players don't require a ping mute, but I've definitely come across players that knew how to abuse the pings. In these cases, what can I do?

Report them at the end of the game? Turn off the sound of all pings if it's possible? Yeah it's a pain and it doesn't solve your present issue but maybe the report will affect the future of that person?

Mute pings for that game and report them as Bimclunk stated.

You can manually lower the volume of pings in your settings. Lowering it to zero will effectively mute pings. Though it will mute all pings, so it's a bit of a double-edged sword.

It is a bit unfortunate that it lowers all pings, but as long as I can do it in game, on the fly, then the specific players that are causing problems can be negated at least a little bit. Thanks again!

Set your ping volume to where you can just barely hear it. Pings tilt me too, if it's quiet it won't make you mad.

this is 1000th i posted this and riot remove it after 2 mins. I have no idea why they want us to hear who muted by us. he keep pinging cuz everyone muted his chat. But riot did nothing and i have to mute pinged sound my game, it affected to good players in game
