Deathcap/Abyssal Mask: Right now Deathcap isn't really being bought because it's in a such shitty state of being too expensive/terrible build path. So that leaves Abyssal Mask as the only other AP item to upgrade, which is really situational as is. Is there going to be anything done to make Deathcap more attractive to buy?

IE/Triforce: Really good items as is nothing to really see here. Just an overall good stat boost, will definitely make ADCs/Yasuo more annoying to deal with for sure. Triforce users will definitely like this depending on how the stats are distributed and if Passives are being upgraded as well. Overall good choices.

Black Cleaver/Sunfire: I like having black cleaver as an upgrade definitely a solid choice for Bruiser/Fighters. I questioning having sunfire as one of the "tank" items to upgrade. Seems like a joke, considering it's a super niche item and was overall nerfed really hard, especially when you compare AD/AP champs having the better end of the deal. Would like to see a different tank item take Sunfire's place. However, I am not really sure what should take it's place as most of the tank items were nerfed hard.

Locket/Redemption: I like both of these items for supports can't really complain here. Definitely going to be good for a lot of champs that are building Locket/Knight's Vow and Stoneplate as well as tank supports

tl:dr AP upgrade items feel lackluster because of Deathcap's shitty buildpath plus Abyssal Mask being so niche, Sunfire is a shit option to have imo, IE/TF/BC/Locket/Redemption are really good candidates

Edt: Just food for thought these upgrades are meant to be like 6th item upgrades. But who is buying and keeping sunfire as their sixth item? I'd argue that Titanic Hydra is better for waveclear and slot efficiency.

Abyssal Mask is a tank item, not an AP item.

Abyssal Mask isn't an AP item though....... its AP stats went to Banshee's Veil remember?

Sunfire Cape still isn't bad as a first item for a top lane tank, but it doesn't feel like a late game item. I think Randuin is probably a better choice, given its ability to reduce critical strikes.

As for the Deathcap issue... I think it's fine as this is meant to be late game and at that point, ditching something for the Deathcap would be worth it. If you absolutely want to have something more common as the mage choice, perhaps Banshee's Veil or Zhonya's Hourglass would be better. I think Veil would be more worthy, since late game Hourglass doesn't feel very relevant.

I think that there needs to be a couple more options. In particular, I think there should be another option for AP champions, and I think Rageblade should be an option, as it is to on-hits what IE and Deathcap are to AD and AP, respectively.

AP casters got Rabadons, AD casters got nothing at all - unless you count the item that Riot pushed in the bruiser direction extremely hard for no reason (it wasn't a bruiser item in the beginning). It's amazing how people act like AS/Crit itemization benefits AD champions in general when AD casters aren't much closer to ADC's than AP casters.
