supports are taking thunderlords now.

I'm pretty sure most supports that aren't tanks/healers have been taking thunderlord's for a while.

What else are you going to take on non-tank and non-heal/non-shield supports?

Supports won't invest in Ferocity because they need Cunning and Resolve, so the tree keystones of Ferocity are out.

Non-tanks supports don't want to invest 18 in Resolve, and don't make good use of the three keystones that are down that tree.

So you invest 18 points in Cunning. If you don't focus on shielding or healing, Windspeaker is out. Stormraider's Surge is something that you won't proc as a support (and even if you did, it'd be pretty useless).

Essentially, Thunderlord's Decree is what's left for the likes of as well as most wild card mages gone supports because poking is what they do, and TLD increases your poke by tossing free damage on top of it.

That's because Annie isn't a support.

2. TLD is the only thing she can take if she's going cunning anyways.

Though it's funny seeing spammy healers/shielders taking TLD and end up becoming useless anyways. It's always the ones taking Windspeaker's that "carries" their shitty teams.

Arguably TLD is better on supports than anyone else.

It's damage that doesn't scale with items. Who doesn't get items? Supports. So while a TLD proc from your ADC may increase their damage by 10%, a TLD proc from a support may increase their poke damage by 30%? Seems to make good sense to me?

Laners have been taking Items from Supports forever.

But let a Support take a "Lane" Keystone... oh no!!!!

Everyone has been taking Thunderlords since it came out! It was so popular that they had to buff the other keystones just so that they would be picked. Dont get mad at the supports, get mad at the keystone

Good poke supports tend to take Thunderlord's. And Bard takes it, because his heals aren't constant enough for Windspeaker's to be all that good.
