What If talons E....?
What if
E reset on kills, and/or was cast-able on allies?
Instantly LCS viable?

instantly op and broken, followed by boards outrage.
this is why riot cant take forums seriously
Why would it be broken? Kats resets on kills/assists, and she can dash to allies, they both have very similar play styles as well.
Tris has a reset, why cant talon?
Jax can dash to allies why cant talon?
Lee can dash to allies why cant talon?
All 3 of the last mention are all played often and played alot in the LCS. Why cant talon have that chance to?
those champs all have different strengths and tradeoffs. there's no comparison unless you're comparing individual skills in a vacuum
not to mention you made all those comparisons without even once mentioning graves' cigar
Kat is one of the most broken champs in the game. (not overpowered, just a really broken design)
Talon's already a team melter, he's the last champion who needs a mechanic as polarizing as resets
maybe not a reset, but being able to cast on allies is needed.
Katarina, while even/behind, cannot 100-0 a squishy with a full ult channel. Talon can easily do so while even, and has a shot to do it with his ult while behind.
Lee doesn't scale well later into the game and doesn't have a reset.
Jax isn't an assassin at all and he doesn't have a reset.
Talon being able to do either, let alone both, would be broken and require damage nerfs or increased mana costs. Talon has one of the fastest burst combos in the game, that's why he isn't allowed a reliable escape
LMFAO you must have kat and talon completely confused, cause talon has utterly shit base damage on all his abilities, kat can probably out damage talon with just her ult alone if neither had items.
Also please read, your incompetence is sad. i said nothing about lee or jax having resets. I stated they can dash to allies. Which talon should be able to too, this at least should be done, maybe not the resetting but the dashing to allies.
I never said that you said Jax or Lee had resets I was just comparing all of the abilities to each other (Kat has reset and ward/ally hop, Jax and Lee have ward/ally hop but no reset and Talon has neither).
In my experience Talon can and should get a kill vs most mages at levels 4 or 5 with proper play from him, Kat on the other hand shouldn't get a kill until she roams or gets a gank
Lee doesn't scale well later into the game and doesn't have a reset.
Jax isn't an assassin at all and he doesn't have a reset.
you never said anything about jax or lee having resets did ya.
Reading comprehension, you should try it. You never said they had resets, and I never said that you did. I did compare their lack of resets to your proposed change (reset and/or ally jumping) and Kat's reset.
Instantly LCS viable? That's a resounding YES!
In fact, he'd be OP as shit and banned/picked as often as Morde in worlds atm. Atm he still has some of the absolute best assassination potential in the game, the trade off for that is how easily he is to catch and implode since he has no escapes aside from blowing his ult. The high risk high reward gameplay.
But give him a way out or even a way to keep chasing down multiple targets on top of his current strength and he'd be utterly ridiculous and completely broken lol
I think they should at least let him use his E on friendly minions, so his laning isn't so risky by nature even though he is easily countered by so many mid laners already. But nothing more then that, and he'll be in a good spot as an assassin I believe.
Why play talon with his high risk high rewar when i can play zed who is low risk high reward? where is the trade off?
Its only his E that resets, his Q and W will still be the normal, so he wouldnt be able to jsut dash around the field pentaing every team fight like kat.
And atleast u agree on the casting on allies, thats really all he needs, was just throwing in the reset as a possible idea as well.
What if it reset on Kills jk lol
That would make him a lot more feast or famine since if your not getting kills when you fall behind you're still weak but when you're ahead it makes him really safe.
it wouldn't hurt is falling behind at all, it would actually help it. make him less famine. This is clearly a 100% buff, so in no way can it be more of a famine. More Feast yes, it would allow him to get in and get out more easily, which why not? nearly all other assassins have some means of escape once they have killed their target, where as talon does not. And talon is on the very low end of the spectrum of viable assassins, so he is in clear need of a buff.
I mean they buffed Ahri giving her even more mobility when she was a top dog, so why cant they buff talon and give him more mobility when he is a clear underdog?
And talon is on the very low end of the spectrum of viable assassins, so he is in clear need of a buff.
Look at his play rate though? It is 1/3rd of Zeds which means he isnt really played that much. Most of the people that play him probably play him often and their opponents don't see him nearly as much as the other assassins. So his win rate could be bloated.... I mean look at Rengar it constantly sits at 50% but I see constant post about him being broken.
That explanation doesn't seem to fit with the other stats there though. If you compare him to Zed, his average playerbase experience is only slightly higher, and the playerbase experience distribution has a higher number of new players than Zed does. I just can't see that small of a difference bloating his winrate very much. Talon also did go through a very popular phase only a season ago, so I doubt that people are that lacking in knowledge of how to fight him, particularly since his counterplay is not very complex.
Talon just isn't that weak. He's underplayed because he's boring to many, many players. Simple as that.
He also counters some of the main champions zed is weak vs. Ahri off the top of my head is the main one. I kind of agree with you, but one season is a very long time. Elise was played ALL OF LAST SEASON and they did some tweaks to her and she got out of control for the first bit because people hadn't gotten used to her being in the game again lol.
Elise went out of control until the exact moment she got nerfed and didn't move before that, so I'm going to ascribe more of her being out of control to raw strength. One season isn't really a very long time. It's a year, and he hasn't been unplayed for that year. It's not like he's an Urgot or Poppy where it's actually been a very, very long time since people might have seen them.
I mean, a little bit of his winrate might be due to his being underplayed and people not knowing how to play against him, but I'd guess it's a pretty minimal effect. I just can't see it being that important. I'd still put him as a strong champion even after taking it into account.

No, it means that Zed is played all the time. Talon is still played more than most mid laners.
Talon players who are only just trying him out in ranked also have a win rate of 51%.
He is at 20 out of "46" put him at about half which really isnt that bad lol. Also his player average games are at 104 so doesnt seem like he has a whole slew of new people giving him a try.
Instantly broken FIFY
The reset on kills would be useless completely useless outside of blinking to allys after killing someone
