I have some negative feedback about the achievement system for Masteries 6-7

I need 1100 Blue Essence in order to rank my Zed mastery emote up to level 7 which means I need to open a number of chests to disenchant the champions I get from them into blue essence, and you're not guaranteed to get champions from chests, if you get skins then you can disenchant them too but they turn into orange essence not blue essence, and blue essence is what I need, but you won't always get blue essence from chests so I need to get a lot of them.

Not to mention the fact that you should barely ever get S-ranks when you're in an evenly matched game. I've played this game for 4 years. My normal MMR is at a Diamond level (I know this because I always see Diamonds and the occasional Master tier in my games.) I also main a champion that is very easy to counter and has very distinct counterplay. The highest grade I can achieve ON AVERAGE is A+. Let me make at least one thing clear: There is no way you can get an S rank if you are in an above-average MMR. Ever since the introduction of Hextech Crafting, when people inflated the amount of S-ranks in the grading economy, S-ranks have been exponentially harder to achieve. I used to get them extremely often before Hextech Crafting was released. And since the system grades you based on your performance with your champion and role combination in comparison to other people in your region with your champion and role combination, S-ranks have been significantly harder to gain overall ever since the introduction of Hextech Crafting which made everyone want to tryhard. Ever since then, it's been significantly more difficult to get the rank, on top of the fact that I'm in an MMR where shitstomping the enemy team is an EXTREMELY rare occurrence. EVERYONE plays well. Everyone in this MMR knows how to play and how to counterplay. There is no excuse for anyone to ever get anything higher than an A+ unless members of the enemy team do not deserve to be in the MMR with the one who gained the S-rank. So not only do I have to be lucky enough to get these S ranks (and for level 7, S- won't even be enough, which is a load of utter bullshit) but I also need to spend enough money to buy the chests and HOPE that there are champions in them so that I can disenchant them into blue essence. And I only regularly play 4 champions. Zed, Talon, Jhin, and Yasuo. I already have received chests on ALL of these champions. So I have to spend money in order to unlock the ranks that I want, because there's no way in hell I'm playing random champions in an MMR where I am only able to compete if on my best champions. And even then, just like I said, anything higher than an A+ is a rarity. This new system has far too many faults. Can we please go back to the original system? Where you only had to combine 3 champion shards to unlock a rank for a champion of your choosing? I feel like that was a MUCH healthier system and had very little, if any, frustration tied to it. Unlike the system you guys are choosing to move forward with now.

Yes, and they actually made that change only recently. Your ranked rating factors into who you are matched up with and against when you play normal games.

S ranks should be difficult to achieve

And that being said, they still aren't very hard to reach. It shouldn't be a thing you achieve every other game and Riot wants to make high ranking masteries actual be just that - A MASTERY. Everyone and their mother is sitting on several Rank 5 champions, it has no real appeal.

They are also addressing a sink for extra essences, I really don't see how this is a complaint.

This should never have been a thing to begin with. The point of a mastery is you getting better with the character in game, so why would a shard that is a random in a hextech chest make any sense? It should be solely based apon how you do with said character, not some money grabbing bull. Maybe add in some goals for getting higher ranks, kills, objectives, anything but random chest garbage.

I completely agree with you. Except that I actually would have been okay with them going down the money grabbing route if they stuck with their original plan. Originally, combining 3 shards of any champion would allow you to increase the level cap of any champion. Now, they've gated it behind S-ranks, tokens, and essences. They made it waaay more convoluted and frustrating and added another layer of money-grabbing because people on Reddit complained about the old system even though it was far more convenient than the one they're looking at now.
