Whoa, you mean some champions counter other champions? THAT'S SO UNBALANCED, RITO PLEASE REWORK ALL CHAMPIONS SO NONE OF THEM HAVE ANY STRATEGIC VALUE.

You are comparing a champion who is designed to beat said champion type...not really sure this is a fair discussion.

A. No one makes tier lists anymore. B. Then make a real fucking comparison, ie Tristana vs. Kalista or Olaf vs. Irelia.

Olaf is a powerhouse. Why do nubs keep saying he's trash? I just hope competitive play doesn't get ahold of him.

Probably because he has no crazy gapclosers like Maokai's Gragas's etc.

countering is good but 100% countering is bad

Okay was designed to be an anti CC initiator + duelist, his weakness is his lack of reliable gapclosing method and his binary nature, but his strength is that he is meant to require the entire enemy team's attention when he is on stage.

Now there is 1 champ who can kite him infinitely by right clicking, and she isn't a counter specifically designed to play against him (or champs like him), but meant to be better than almost everybody else on the roster. And that is the problem I think OP is trying to emphasise.

Hard Counterplay vs immobile champions is acceptable, hard counterplay vs mobile champions is unacceptable .Riot's logic
