Riot needs to rework the dodging and role assignment systems
I'm 2-6 in the last two days on getting the role I wanted with 3 dodges in the last two days. I chose 1)Jungle and 2) Mid every time, so I would almost be guaranteed Jungle, but it didn't work. Combining dodges and playing roles I didn't want due to not wanting to dodge, I've lost about 60 LP in the last 24 hours. My MMR is now down to the point where I'm gaining 10 and losing 20, so the dodge penalties really fucking hurt.
I would be more than happy to wait an extra 10 minutes if I had to, so I could get my role and not lose LP. I doubt I'm the only one.
Riot needs to understand that no one "wants" to dodge. People dodge because we feel we have to due to:
-
Not getting your role. If I don't get my role, I'm going to play worse, I'm not going to enjoy the game and I'm likely to get flamed or flame because I'm stuck in a game I don't want to play.
-
Trolls. I've seen a lot of games break down in the champ select screen, and I don't think I should be punished because someone thought it was funny to ban my champion.

Bad matchups/teams that just aren't going to work. Due to the new CC/teamfighting meta, one bad pick is all it takes to throw the game. There's a lot of absolutely unfun as fuck combos right now involving people like Veigar, Malz, Soraka, GP and others. Yes, these games could be won, but right now, the team with the most CC is going to win. And when your team gets it ass kicked, the flames and reports are going to fly, making everyone more miserable.
And in the meantime, I'm just going to go do something else or play CSGO.
