Own opinions about Sona

It's been a while since I've been playing Leg, and since I need an easy time to get used again to the combat, I picked up an easy champ to play with - like Sona. Yeah she's really simple to play and is probably one of the best champions to bring people close to the support role, the only problem here is; she really can't do much except using her ultimate. Do not think of me wrong, she has decent utility if you use her buffs and powerchords propertly, though that makes her sometimes really hard to play with.

• Regardless wich aura Sona cast, her allies can't really utilize them, or don't notice them at all.
• She has really no good uses in lane except healing/shielding damage and constantly poking the enemies with her Q.
• Despite Sonas good gold income with her easy poke, she sometimes needs extreme luxury items in order to be useful, since her base stats on her abilities are low.
• If Sona tries to set up a gank pre-6, she has to use her slow powerchord, but with her low ms and most modern adcs having the ability to dash, she can't really use much cc except her ult.
• the only play she can make is a flash/ult wich is at times extremely risky.

I'm not one of these guys who are asking for buffs or anything, but I honestly feel like she deserves to be looked at again. Rework parts of her abilities or kits or rework her completely would be great. An Opinion from an Riot-er would be awesome tho.
