Is morde worth picking up?

Mordekaiser is a STRONG champ, but because he is so abysmally slow in a game where there is so much mobility and cc, it makes it pretty hard to play him.

I feel like "Mordekiser es numero uno" doesn't have the same meaning anymore. It USED to mean was number one;an immovable object. Now it means he can bring the greatest suffering of all if YOU can play like Numero uno.

But be warned, Mordekiaser has over 150+ bugs, and from the looks of it, they may not get fixed any time soon.

You will cast your ult, hear the RAHHHHH, but nothing will happen, and it will go on cooldown for no reason. You will learn to deactivate w, but only to realize that when you try to AA(even with Q) it will do no damage at all. Ghosts are buggy too, you give a command, but they will flip aggro on whatever they want, ESPECIALLY against minions.

Also, Mord's Attack Speed is SO slow, you will be one hit away from killing an enemy, see the AA animation start, but you will die before it acually hits the enemy sometimes.

Rush full tier boots! Watch how ANY champion gets basic boots and outruns you. (Most Ranged adc's have more Movespeed than poor Mord who has almost the WORST base in the game)

But if you are willing to learn him, he IS a good champion, but you MUST know the secrets of how he works. Practice solo top in bots first, like I did, 2 vs. 1, hardest bots you can get.

If you take the time to master him, he's an amazing champ.

Just wish his bugs could get fixed and he could get 10 MS, that's all he needs

Based on stats, even experienced Morde players in most elos are struggling to keep a 50% winrate.

My winrate on Mord(who I spam almost every game) went from 47% to whatever it is now. Probably low 40s, but Ive played many games with him, so idk. Plus, Im at work atm so I cant check without cancelling all I type(mobile phone)

Mordekaiser is where Karma was a few years ago. Nobody really understood her, she had some unique abilities that people vaguely noticed because of the visual distinctiveness, but only dedicated hardcore fans player her consistently. You could win with her, it felt amazing when you did, but you probably were going to win because of your own skill and the enemy's lack of knowledge about your champ, not because the champion itself was good. So to answer your question, if you want an easy champ to pick up, try someone else. If you want a difficult champ that you're playing to prove that you can win, even with an underpowered character, then you might enjoy Mordekaiser.
