For a mid-late game carry, Yasuo is too strong early game.

Mobility, innate tankiness, the ability to perfectly control wave push and farm from afar, cancel autos and deal absurd damage in the top lane, and the CC to beat any top laner.

Isn't Yasuo supposed to scale to get his power? Why does he get so much early game strength and never fall off as the game goes on? There are very few champions who can beat Yasuo in lane because of his unorthodox and disorienting style of laning and fighting. While most melee top laners engage head-on, he dashes around to minions, building up his power while harassing you and being able to dash back without a second thought.

Since when has Yasuo been able to keep up with tanky lane bullies like Shen and Dr. Mundo? And all he does is build Phantom Dancer and lo and behold you can't fight him anymore. I can understand Yasuo winning with mages because of his wind wall, but top lane bruisers and tanks with no projectiles to block should have some sort of advantage because of their lack of range, but Yasuo somehow outclasses them in their own lane.

Can somebody please explain this to me?

Tanky lane bully, mundo and shen. Hehe. 10/10 bait thread, lets see if somebody falls for it. And yasuos earlygame really is a bit too strong, but he has an abysal midgame if he cant get a lead early and tends to feed his ass off midgame. Shen and Mundo will never win the lane against any equally skilled laner without jungle attention, so yasuo beating them early is nothing that is special anyway. He actually starts being good lategame again so saying he is a midgame carry is wrong.

Can confirm that if he doesn't get ahead early, then his mid is shit. It usually how I notice bad Yasuo players.

Still feels weird to have a strong early and late but weak mid.

I mean Caitlyn is pretty much the same.

Which is weird and really annoying honestly.

MUndo is a tanky lane bully?

Yeah his earlygame is definitely too strong but his midgame is actually not that great against alot of toplaners.

CC to beat any top laner

I chuckled

His knockup.

His knockup.

That's literally one cc spell. Dodge it.

I can't dodge a targeted dash into an AoE.

Then CC him back and build armor.

Melledoneus1 votes

Building armor only slightly delays him killing you. If I'm running toward my turret away from a Yasuo in lane, he's going to be dashing through minions and constantly knocking me up and auto attacking. Not to mention if I can't farm to begin with, I can't build armor.

Oh, and if my CC happens to be a projectile he'll just W.

Then if you have such a problem with him, ban him or dodge. To be honest, I hate fighting him too. I was just trying to justify his current state because I'm trying to get good, and I feel like whining doesn't help anyone. I can't stand fighting him even when he's weak, and most people hate him as well.

I have to face him in blind pick normals. I have mastered Shen top and can even beat the likes of Darius and Renekton by wits and maneuvering around them, but Yasuo is impossible for me to fight.

I know! It's the worst, right?

You're an unranked former silver.

You haven't "mastered" anyone.

Melledoneus1 votes

You're a level 7 account.

I think I'm more qualified to determine whether I've mastered someone, by your logic.

This is a level seven account, my main is silver. I do not claim to have mastered any champion.

And I do not play ranked. I just play a shit ton of normals, I have over 600 games with Shen post-rework, and god knows how many pre-rework.

Quantity is not the same as quality.

Stop being so arrogant. You have mastered nothing in this game.

Melledoneus1 votes

By playing large quantities of games, we win, we fail, we learn. That's how pros become so good at the game. Quantity in this case generates better quality, unless I absolutely refuse to learn from my mistakes, which is not the case. That is how I've learned how to deal with lanes that Shen cannot win normally. That is how you learn the hard way how to play a champion, how to focus both on your lane and on bot lane/mid lane, and that's how you learn your limits, your ranges, your options, and your flaws.

I have mastered Shen, and I provided the proof to support that. Your baseless accusations amount to nothing. Have a nice day, and enjoy being permabanned.

Who have you played against that truly tested your potential as a player?

Do you think your Shen play is on the level of that of someone like Dyrus', who does not even main him?

If it is not (it's not), you have not mastered Shen. I know this because you can not even conceive of how Yasuo might be difficult for him to face in lane. You also seem to believe Shen is a lane bully, which isn't really the case.

I'm only permabanned on my main in this forum friend. As you can see that has impeded me very little.

Okay, Yas has definitely more than a "very few" champions that have the ability to beat him in lane. He can be a good laner, but only in a good matchup. Otherwise, he will have to outplay his opponent, or they will have to misplay the matchup.

Shen and Dr. Mundo aren't tanky lane bullies lmao.

Yasuo lanes well against immobile sacks of shit who can't pin him down. Mundo and to a lesser extent Shen fall into this category.
