Looks like it's time for another ADC rework...

This is my game as an ADC right now:

  • Having to delay my build and game to wait for that 1300 Gold BF Sword. Funny how the ADC rework was supposed to stop the ADC's from having to build Infinity Edge first, and now it's pretty much the standard first item except for Run's/Shiv.

  • 4 man dive trains constantly hitting bot, making it impossible to do anything but die. I've never seen so much camping and turret diving as I have in Flex Q.

  • Takes tons of outplaying to take down tanks and usually requires another person

  • Again, takes tons of outplay to take out assassins with people like Talon who can jump over walls to nail you

The armor pen nerfs set back any progress the ADC's had made last season and they feel like they are in the worst state they have ever been in. They are too weak early and it takes a ton of out play and team protection to do anything late game. I really think at the rate we are at, we might be seeing bot lanes without ADC's in it soon since melee champs have better farm, are better early and are tankier.

  1. You're not forced to build IE first. You can metasheep after pros and do that blindly, and this is why you're having frustration. Don't sheep, innovate based on the match. Also,

-Twitch -Draven -Kog -Vayne -Kalista

These guys (With the exception of new vayne, which will be nerfed hard I'm sure) don't rush IE.

  1. 4 man dive isn't fixable, sorry. No rework can fix that. If the players decide they want to group bot and gank you under turret, there's nothing Riot can do. Have the rest of your team follow or push objectives. What is Riot supposed to do, erect barriers around bot lane for the first 10 minutes? Or give every ADC great mobility? No need to break the game, thank you.

  2. It does not take tons of outplaying to bring down a tank. It takes a support. Remember, as an ADC, you are meant to fight NO ONE alone. Aside from most supports, your class isn't meant to ever solo people until maybe late game. Why? Because your DPS is astronomical, so naturally you have to be weak alone. That's why we have a whole class known as support. So yeah, when you 1v1 Naut, you're going to lose (Unless maybe Vayne). However, when you have a Leona, Soraka, Thresh, etc, it's an easy kill. Remember, the second ADCs are able to fight for themselves is the day the game absolutely breaks due to the raw damage and design of the class.

  3. You're right, an assassin takes less to outplay you than vice versa. But, turns out, there's this odd thing called a counterpick in League. Basically, believe it or not, Riot introduced this class, called assassins, that are designed to get to those little coddled squishies outputting astronomical damage in the back line and burst them. As an ADC, you are not meant to stand a chance against them. If you can go toe to toe with assassins as an ADC, all things constant, ADCs are broken and assassins are weak. You are a squishy DPS dealer, burst counters you. Again, rely on your support.

People need to realize that the ADC isn't its own role. The ADC is a duo role with the support. Unlike mid mages, assassins, top tanks, fighters and jungle everything, ADCs aren't balanced around soloing anything. You have a whole class dedicated to you. Use it. So when you're off alone in an unwarded jungle and Talon leaps over a wall and tears you in half, he's not overpowered. You misplayed by going anywhere unsafe without a support. However when you go in with a Leona and Talon jumps over a wall, he's dead. Simple as that.

Again, ADCs should never and will never be a solo role in League. ADCs should never and will never have solo capabilities all things held constant (With small exceptions such as Vayne or old Kog, mostly why he was reverted.) Because the second they can solo, then they are overpowered because they won't be soling. They'll be "soloing" with their support by their side, increasing the power further.

Edit: I understand I have these numbered 1, 1, 2, 3. In the typing box it shows me 1-4, however when I post, it decides they're to separate lists. Just bear with me there, I don't care enough to format it perfectly.

Nice.

I like to think of ADCs and Supports as the sword and shield of bot lane.

ADCs bring all the damage while Supports bring all the defense, and neither one can lane without the other.

LOL With the exception of Twitch and Vayne, all of those guys are under 50% winrate right now. And Vayne does rush IE. Fail.

Sure they can. Less xp for junglers. A decent jungler is going to be 2 levels ahead of the ADC right now. Makes for an easy kill. Stronger towers, less snowballing because ADC's will always be the most affected by it.

Get rid of first tower gold. Rollback the assassin update. Make the towers stronger. Stop the snowbally shit or compensate by giving the ADC's a chance to be stronger early.

Put up anyone but Vayne against a Tahm or a Zac Right now. The tank will either outrun or outlast them 1v1.

Remember, as an ADC, you are meant to fight NO ONE alone.

This is Ranked deathmatch mode aka Flex Q. If we aren't doing a 1v5, something is wrong. It only takes 1 person to blow it.

So yeah, when you 1v1 Naut, you're going to lose (Unless maybe Vayne)

Funny you say that, because none of the ADCs with 50% or higher win rates rush IE.

Why does the assassin update need to be rolled back? Most aren't even that good.

At what stage of the game? Because six slotted, most ADCs can duel most tanks. Vayne can duel all tanks, obviously.

Once again, this response only shows how low-functioning your cognitive abilities are. He was saying that if (IF, as in, they can't, but IF they could) ADCs could beat assassins, they would be overpowered.

Since they aren't, they can't.

adcs dont need armor pen

adcs need protection from team mates

protecting anything is just awful when its 10x better to just play something that gets its job done in a 1v1 setting.

adcs still reach best theoretical sheet dps, you're just dead already and not playing around the objective.
