It's spelt as "Veigar", why would there be any other pronuciation other than it's most obvious 'Vei-Gar', where the 'ei' portion is the exact same as 'ei' from say, "weight"?

As I was saying the 'ei' should most likely be used the same as the one from "weight". So yes, you pronounce it as 'Vay-gar'.

Only in the last word where the "ei" is not pronounced as 'ay', and that's because it goes with "-ve" after it; English language is full of exceptions like that, it's a mess.

And ofc, since the spelling of "Veigar" has no "-ve" after "ei", you pronounce the "ei" as 'ay'.

Here's a fun one. Look at Harvey Weinstein. Both "eye" and "ee" in the name despite same spelling.
