A few abilities in the game you no customization on how to input the ability. Yasuo's Q and R are forced quickcast. WW's Q is I don't even know, some weird version of quickcast. There are others I can't think of off the top of my head.
I still don't use quickcast and idc if it's suboptimal but being unable to configure inputs feels bad and jarring.

This is strange when you play karthus because Karthus forces standard quick cast. WW Q isnt as aids but that might just be because ive played so much of him im used to the way his Q works now. Holding = Drag. click = chomp

I forgot about Karthus because honestly the only way his Q feels playable is with full quickcast imo, which is contradictory to my post lol.
Rewt1 votesI like range indicators because it allows me to aim my skill and see its range and hitbox before i cast it.
Full quick cast just throws me off because instead of casting when i release the key it casts when i press it. Which fucks with the way i aim skill shots. I prepare the skill shot by holding the key down and when im ready to fire it i let go, with karthus when i try to do that i sometimes just cast a random q into left field because i wasnt aimed yet and forgot that I cant aim the way i normally do.

OutlyDoodlyPlayd1 votesIts the same with flash or heal for example. You can click yasuo's q or, flash, and then click again... but obviously its stupid. I dont know why riot forces this quickcast... I m ean idc if everybody wants to play yasuo with quick cast. Im that weirdo who likes to NOT quick cast... but again, riot forces everyone to play it this way... report riot.
