Do you believe in counterpicks?
If you loose lane against a champion that "counters" you, do you blame your subpar play or you honestly believe that that specific champion counters you?

EndlessSorcerer2 votesSome champions have a natural advantage over other champions due to the specifics of their item builds, they kits, their power-spikes and/or their playstyle. This cannot be denied.
However, match-ups are dependent on skill. Even if you are at a disadvantage, you can still lose if you play better/smarter than the enemy champion or they don't play the match-up correctly.
While I will admit that I am at a disadvantage in some match-ups, they are still winnable and I won't attribute a victory or loss solely due to a counter-pick.
Dreadlocks1 votesBoth, at lower elos, its more so your inability to play the champion, the higher you are ranked the more counter picking actually plays a part in ur lane.
Example, as a Gold 1 Rengar main, i hate playing vs Jax top, vs an equally skilled Jax player, I will lose this lane every time. However, if i'm playing vs say a bronze-silver Jax player, ill probably win it every time.
Both play a part, just depends.
LF Annie1 votesi believe certain champions by nature have a harder time against other specific picks, and if ppl are at even skill on the champions, one will have the advantage. not saying that counters are the cure-all, but some matchups are harder than others.

Both champions leave the lane strong and influence skirmishes and teamfights later in the game.
The fact that Morgana can prevent Galio from taunting an ally can be extremely useful later.

But really, counters are just like starting out the game ahead. Just like with any lead, it's easy to throw if you suck.
