Adjusting the delay based on the distance between Leona and the target area would take care of that.

Yeh that be cool but only the stun delay not the slow to not make it close to useless

You'd probably have to tweak the whole thing a bit more to make that work, as I don't think the ult hitting at its outskirts before it hit in the middle would make much sense.

Possibly (and I'm just pulling this out of my ass as I type, mind you): a very small damageless AoE slow (like Lux pool before it detonates) that rapidly expands (like a much faster moving Cass pool) until it reaches full size, at which point the stun and damage hits everyone in the area. The distance to the target could then impact the growth speed, rather than a conventional delay.

Despite the underlying joke, this is a marvelous idea, as a part Leona main i know from experience. Leona is such a tough support. But she is Soooooo predictable if you bait her zenith blade she is essentially useless because her ult only slows half the time unless you are dead on accurate. However i think if this were to change her ult would have to become more like an ashe ult, maybe she uses her shield as a mirror and reflects a wave off the sun or something.

I dunno just the thoughts of an idiot on the internet tell me what you think!
