This is pretty telling...

Note A: I tried "League of Legends Esports Suck" and got no result. I also tried similar phrases like "LoL Esports suck" and "LoL Esports boring" and got no results for those, either.

Note B: I know it's not some conclusive, case-ending study on it, however keep in mind that Google is used by a majority of people when it comes to searches.

If you want, look up "League of Legends Twitch" and/or "League of Legends Stream/s" (replace "League of Legends" with "LoL" if you like) and, well, even if I'm another voice in the echo-chamber, I'm only shouting because I genuinely agree with them - as a furry who believes himself to be one of the Ahri (I mean kitsune, I know she's a kumiho) the entire idea of 'blending in' doesn't seem that appealing to me.

I have not seen so many people complain about the game's state. I haven't. But what's there for me to say otherwise? Everyone has already said it, so I'll just leave these images here. Toy around with Google Trends and see how much information you can rip out of it on League's current state and it's best season, and maybe lets ask for it to go back to that. It may actually work, if I'm honest. I can only hope. I love League.

This data is a better indicator of how many new players there AREN'T, instead of concurrent daily players. Players who play it regularly are far less likely to run a Google search, so they aren't counted in this chart.

That said, it has less players than before but not THAT MUCH less..... yet...

It will probably succeed like World of Warcraft in future years. Not the talk of the town but still barely hanging on to relevancy. You probably got nothing to worry about for two years at least.

Good. I just hope it doesn't become unplayably unenjoyable. I've existed here since S3, and I don't really want to quit. Due to friends, due to people I care for, due to the fact it's an enjoyable game when it's a decent fight.

if that tracks strickly search words, its unreliable. A lot of people(including myself) do not type out the full league of legends in the search or even auto-complete it.

[Remade] Riot, part of your toxicity problem stems from how one-sided matches are.
