Malzahar Passive - Fizz Ult Interaction.
If Malzahar's passive is up. And Fizz uses his ult on him. The passive does not block either the CC before or the damage afterward.
Is this supposed to happen?

Mal the Red2 votesI just don't want the text to lie to me and say that it blocked CC when it clearly didn't, and still get hit by the full power of the shark because the passive is gone by the time it emerges.

Malzahar's Passive blocks CC and 90% Damage.
It does not negate the spell itself.
Fizz Ult has 4 parts to it as far as I know.
Bind. Slow. Damage. Knock-up
Initially the shark bind and slows its target.
the slow is blocked by Malzahar's shield because it is a soft CC
The bind however, does not impede Malzahar's movement what-so-ever, so it stays on him
After 1.5 seconds the shark then Knocks you up and deals magic damage while placing slow on you a second time.
Because the initial slow activated your shield and more than .25 seconds passed by, you are knocked up, damaged, and slowed.
Maybe not the best explanation, but w/e.
Mal the Red1 votesMalzahar's Passive is supposed to block all CC and 90% of all damage for .25 seconds after taking damage or crowd contol. But the fish stays attached even though it should have been blocked.
