Better ways to play ranked and have more chances to ff without losing LP

Basically, we all have those games where people go afk, for they have to leave, or they are literally inting and trolling. The game can tell if someone goes afk by the end of the game so why is it so hard for it to recognize that in game and allow people to ff without losing lp. Because its not fair for us to basically be punished because someone else went afk forcing it into a 4v5. Yes we have that option very early on in the game, but in the mid to late game, if someone goes afk because they get mad, or just have to do something else, it ruins the game for everyone else. So I think a good thing to add is the ability to ff if someone on either team is afk for 5-10 minutes at least without losing lp. The same can be said for people who intentionally feed to, it ruins the game for everyone in the end.

Because it would be super abusable, especially if you literally duo que'd with someone.

"Hey man, looks like were going to lose this one, I'll afk this time, just get me back next time". You would cut your losses down by ~50%. In higher rankeds, this would be especially painful as most of the playerbase knows one-another and even if its not duo'd, someone "taking it for the team" would undoubtedly be reimburst next time.

Trust me, I've thought about this before, but the obvious answer here is its so ridiculously exploitable that there is absolutely no way this would work as you have stated. Plus making someone rage quit / tilt is part of the game IMO in solo que. I love tilting and making the enemy mid laner afk.

I like the concept but I feel it's too one sided such as --> What about the other team? Are they just gonna not get LP? Even if they do get LP where are they going to get it from? Could this type of mechanic be easily abused if the team is hating on one person etc? Riot has to take these types of questions and more before going in to changing the controls of League Games. It's unfortunate but what they currently have in place of just not tackling this issue also creates progress as some win and some lose. It's not what's in the popular opinion but Riot just doesn't have their sights in fixing what's already here, instead (I think) Riot would rather look forward to make something new. I may be wrong and it is just my opinion but I do believe that these types of problems must be taken on from both sides.
