Can Ashe mid work?
Why or why not?
Why or why not?
ADCs work everywhere nowadays.
It can work, ADCs are typically more gold reliant than level reliant, which is why they typically go bot instead of mid. An ADC like Ashe needs to play very safe in mid due to the number of places you can be ganked from and lack of escapes. Ashe also does not have much more potential to bully the enemy mid than other champions, so as a mid laner she doesn't rate very high. If you want to take an ADC mid then here are some of the better choices

You mean, bot instead of mid? ;)
Funnily enough, all these champions benefit a lot harder from XP compared to your regular ADC:
fixed, yeah the ADCs mentioned also have some decent safety or ability to bully lanes, and in the case of Quinn it gives her more roaming potential
I think any adc mid would work, just depends who you're up against. I mean I wouldn't wanna ashe mid vs Zed, Fizz, or Kass.
ashe mid can work but you have to be really careful of ganks or mid lane assassins
any marksman can mid, the only reason most don't is for they are very easy pickings for marksman. TBH Marksman literally go bot literally so they can support who can play body guard, for even if a adc loses lane and goes 0 2 0 many times they will still have the most farm on the team purely because they were protected
This reminds me of S1 Ashe mid only meta.
She can, but every time I lane against an Ashe as Talon, I smile. She feeds me so much. It's not recommended.
Idk, could a Doplhin order a burrito then give a full online review about The Dark Knight, as he solves a Rubik's cube? Thought so.
dies to gank zero kill potential on her own poor waveclear
Yes but you need to play very, very safe. You're playing a farm lane unless your jungler is there, you need to keep ward coverage up and avoid trading where possible. I'd say if you're going to do it and the enemy lanner isn't hyper aggressive you probably want to start Cull, that's the kind of lane you're going to be playing.
Basically can it work, yes. Should you play it over Lulu or Lisandra, questionable.
she used to be a mid....
Ashe mid is very risky. I wouldn't go mid in PVP with just anyone either.
Your JG should always be ready to pull off a gank if you need it. Dont rush gears either...ashe's power lays with her ability to stack crits and variable damage
Ashe mid works. Her surprise ult in mid lane can be a death trap for the opponent. It can also save her during ganks. Her permaslow is also useful. The reason ADC mids aren't as popular(aside from high range, sustain damage; or mobility ones) is because of their lack of mobility. ADCs like ashe have no way to surprise people with a quick roam since she just walks and walks and walks. And if she meets the enemy jungler on the way, followed by the enemy mid, she's in a lot of trouble.
Shortly put, there are better options, but in the end a champion is still a champion.
because the best champions right now are champions with gap closers/disengage and ashe will just get eaten alive unless she has a comp built around to protect her and even they why build one around ashe when there are better choices. Just not viable.
Depends if you want to be food or not. No seriously, it can work. Back when no meta exists, the adc actualy played mid. Still I would be carefill against what matchups you are going to play her. If you have to face an early game jungler you probally will not last that long
