You do remember that release Xin and Irelia were created to diversify the meta out of being basically ranged only.

I don't understand all of this. IF ranged champions make a single mistake they're death.

In my opinion people are mad the early advantages ranged champions have now. Most people cant counter play it early and makes it hard to scale and stay relevant. I think non ranged champs right now just need to be tweaked to have more sustain and survivability in the early game and let them scale a bit less because of that. Personal thoughts though.[slayer-jinx-catface]

Scale a bit less? Ranged champions already consistently outscale the large majority of melees pretty heavily.

Allowing melees to function reasonably doesn't mean they need late game nerfs, otherwise ranged champions need heavier ones.
