I hate what the Morde rework implies

Not only did they try to force him bot but said it was due to him being "unhealthy" for a solo lane with his current kit. Fair enough. But RiotRepertoir also stated that this rework will probably not be enough and he'll need a full blown sion rework to fix him long term. Great.

What I have some pretty major concerns for is that if that hopefully better rework comes about people already see him as a bot laner if the rework didn't utterly fail. Which means they'll rework him with that position in mind rather than give us the Iron Conqueror of Top and Mid lane. :P

I'm opening up too many Morde threads, aren't I?

Doesn't matter. CertainlyT is going to completely disregard all community feedback and push his rework through and only once its live will he see how much he screwed up. He doesnt actually care about the game he just want to push his own agenda.

Also, reminder that "Here at Riot, we dont enforce the meta" :^)

his Q is ridiculously overloaded atm

that power needs to be spread through the rest of his kit, IDK why this is supposed to make him healthier when he feels a lot more binary -- whether you can get Q off or not

"Can I land all 3 Q hits?" is basically the only thing that matters. It's just delayed burst, and it's honestly ridiculous damage even if it's really hard to land on his AP builds (no attack speed) sure it's balanced by the fact that if you can't kite him you had better be comatose, but if he flashes into melee range with third Q proc'd you're probably fucked

Morde is a stat check champion in lane most of the time, mitigated by his lack of protect from ganks.

I'm slightly surprised they're giving Morde AD ratio's at all. That opens up so many more items in build paths, with access to AD champions amazing itemization. I realize it looks like a flat nerf, but there's potential.

The problem is they can't do a "sion rework" without trashing his character. his passive, ult, and e are pretty iconic. I would argue that w is as well.
