why are people so against malphite jg

I mean I don't know why they're so against malph jg but a-ok with something trash like Aatrox jg.

you might think he has a good amount of waveclear, but due to mana cost to dmg it is quite lack luster, and he can't really gank until lvl6. that's just some reasons i can think of.

People are against Malph jungle because A. He's not meta, and people hate anything not meta B. He's a post-6 ganker, and people hate any jungler who doesn't win their lane for them before level 3.

Malphite has 0 tho except his ult. Mobility isn't everything when Aatrox can easily lockdown an opponent with his W & Q. And you're most likely watching real shitty Aatrox.

The difference being Malph is next to never banned (last I saw him banned was like 3 years ago)

Also he's one of the few tanks who can jg well, I mean whenxmy teamis full blown squishy champs (almost always is) why not take a tank?

I wasn't saying I'm against Malphite jungle. I'm sure it's viable.

I'm just saying you can't use an argument against Aatrox that can be used just as well against Malphite.

Amumu tank jg is still a thing? I see him get blown up EVERY time I've been against him or played with him, I didn't even know jg maokai was still a thing, since his mini-rework I've always seen him top, Rammus, from what I've been told is in a real bad spot right now, cho....people actually play him jg without trolling? Mundo, ZAC and Sej are good tho.

All of them are way more a "thing" than malphite jg. Tank jungles are weak atm, but as they go... none of them are as troll as malphite.

Malph is a good jungler imo, if you have lanes than can set up ganks ( Ryze mid with W Root followed up by a slow + red buff, Blitzcrank Thresh bot that can hard engage etc...).

People are just sheeps, just play whatever you enjoy as long as it works. Remember Tristana jungle ?

Tbh I've played a lot of off-meta junglers in the past (yes from Corki Ahri to Draven Janna ) and had really good results (note that I was a jungle Diana Nunu one trick, so I knew exactly how to keep vision etc).

As long as you know what you're doing, everything can work

Tbh I trust the pick of my jungler most of the time.

Btw : Aatrox's clear is legit. You might have seen people who were bad on Aatrox...but calling him trash is harsh. Anything can be called like that if someone has no idea how to play it...
