The term "winning lane" does NOT mean getting your turret first. While this is a good thing in most circumstances, the term "winning lane" means that you have won in cs or shut down the enemy laner. So if you have gotten your turret first but the enemy laner has more than double your cs and three kills on you, I am sorry to inform you that you did not "win lane". That is all.

PSA to the bronzies right next to me (I'm Silver V) "winning lane" does mean, and is not excluded to: ~Taking the turret first ~Killing the enemy laner ~Having the most cs ~Having the most kills ~Defending your first tier turret ~I consider winning lane, Roaming but not giving your enemy laner a free turret + cs, and ontop of that impacting your allies/team in a positive way.
