IT isn't the tank meta these days

It is the same it has been since season 1.

The ADC meta, the only role in LCS that actually dictates what kind of champ the person will play.

I want to see the meta change but people are too busy raging about "assassin meta, tank meta, fighter meta and mage meta" to ever have the main issue of which ever class best counters the ADC is the meta people go with.

What happens when there is no ADC meta and they are truly optional instead of required every game? Do things balance out and champs are picked on what they offer instead of what can lock down or kill the enemy ADC?

Has this angle ever truly been attempted riot? Making Marksmen/ADC more risky to take in the first place be it no babysitting support there at all times because it limits both players gains in levels (aka being level 5 when a solo laner reaches level 6 is rather safe), more of their power dependent on levels by making BF sword have a lower given AD but a % of base AD of the champion added on?

IT just seems that one class should not be so locked in that the meta basically revolves around making this one player on the team be the biggest threat possible. Or are we still basing this off of Doublelift, CLG and what was the adopted play style for a time of play it safe early and then team fight? Why not have a roamer instead of a support basically a second jungler but gold income is more based on allies doing well and exp is gained in greater ammounts by being around higher level allies.

I am guilty of having played dota 2 and the fact that ranged auto attacking carries are not by any means required is something nice to see. League could get away from the ADC meta it just will take some rather harsh changes that people will complain about (what else is new.) Why not open the gates to more diverse options in all the lanes, things like solo bot lane panth VS vayne might become common place instead of "someone is trolling".

it's a possibility, but in dota's system, trolling is actually much worse because the champions literally cannot leave their designed lane until fed enough to survive. Take sniper for example...one of the best and easiest adc's in dota 2..he tries to go into the jungle before like level 10 and he'll surely die

Sniper is pretty garbage actually.

It was sort of non-ADC in s1. Then people realized how strong being ranged was.

I mean. I've been duo-ing Ashe/Ahri bot lane in normals, and I've been doing pretty great. I'm seeing no troubles with a lack of adc as long as my mid and top (and/or jg) are ad to compensate. You should try it.
