Zilean current state

Hi everyone!

I got to say I al really liking new Zilean. He does have some mana issues but I see those are being addressed at the PBE in different ways.

I know there has been 101 threads about his passive but I got an idea and want to talk about it.

Before the passive was localized , globally everyone was about 1 or 2 levels above the opposite team depending on how there were doing of course. which did give a pretty big early game advantage. If the game didn't snowball early then mid to late game, the advantage would be of a lot less impact.

Currently that gets localized and the one getting most of the advantage is Zilean himself and the lane partner (on and off while Zilean is there) and on team fights (to prepare for other teams fights I guess assuming we win and get the exp for the kills). This is all fine and well, I am not complaining about this.

Why was the % kept at 8 and not moved to 10 or 12 ? Since ZIlean is the one getting most of the benefit and that advantage gets lost late game, why don't we make Zilean the first champion to get to lvl 19 or 20? Just the base stat increase with no ability point granted past 18 for skills. This would keep the advantage late game (assuming one is doing well) and late game a lvl difference stat wise is not as overpowered as say passive stat gains from collecting stuff (Thresh/Bard)

Because it most likely would still be a paltry advantage.

Ok so to land the Zilean passive idea:

% xp aura at 10% instead of 8% and when Zilean reaches lvl 18 He gains chrono-displasia and starts earning levels backwards (to lvl 17, then 16 and all the way back down to lvl 1) while still increasing base stats and earning 3 AP per level reversed instead of a skill point.

His base stats earnings per lvl would need to be cut by 1/3 to balance out the accelerated leveling rate.

I propose to add a passive component to rewind 2/4/6/8/10 % xp gain to only Zilean. This will make Zileans total xp % gain to 20% with rewind maxed.

This will make items like Rod of ages super effective on him cause he would be leveling faster and 2 times more.

Thoughts?
