Masteries update

Hi Dev team,

I was wondering about the current state of Masteries. My understanding is that the masteries will be expanded and I was wondering what are the niches you feel need to addressed with more masteries options.

I was personally hoping to get an exp boost mastery kind of like a mini old Zil passive that is on when in range of an ally.

Are there any updates when it comes to masteries and their current state?

We'd like to add some new masteries into the trees at some point and had originally intended to do so during the mid-season patch. The scope of other changes we also wanted to make ended up being large for this time of year though. We put mastery work on hold both to keep total disruption at what we felt was an appropriate level and to allow us to focus on that other work. I expect we will get back to masteries in the second half of the year, though whether that'll be in the preseason patch or before it I'm not sure yet.

RNG masteries? Mastery for timing enemy buffs? Mastery to get a pentakill with one right click?

Make the game competetive again. highelo is unplayable and not fun.

YOur recent changes makes me so mad:

-> giving everyone free wards -> jungle timer -> range indicators -> Dynamic Queue -> making champion mechanics easier (Alistar W Q combo) -> removing active items because its tooo difficult to use them -> more jungle timers even if you don't have vision ->RNG drakes

Thats so bad. I used to spam SoloQ alot. It was a fun game. it was competetive. Now I get ill if I play your game. It's disgusting.
