So why are we suddenly back to complaining about Caitlyn?

Like we complained about her for a bit, then it stopped. Now were complaining about her again? Shes going to get nerfed so you may as well stop whining and wait to see how she gets nerfed.

Caitlyn could be the lowest winrate ADC in the game and people would still complain about her. Her entire kit is literally "no fun allowed". She's always relevant purely because she's safe and a crutch for inexperienced players who are autofilled ADCs.

Well thats partly true. Her early game and late game are super easy to pick up for ADC players. Her mid game requires some experience to get past as its usually pretty tough as if you havent gotten fed youre going to do little damage. Shes also got a high skill cap. Ive mained Cait since 7.1ish and im still learning more about her everyday.

and ya lane bullies are never any fun but you have to power through it.

Well the thing is the majority of champions have early games that are inversely proportionate to their late games. Twitch and Vayne have dreadful early games, and Lucian has a lackluster late game to conmpensate for his strong lane phase.

Cait is a huge lane bully and scales like a monster, and the only period of the game she's weak is her mid game power dip, which isn't even guaranteed to happen. She circumvents said power dip if she does well enough in lane which isn't hard since she's a huge lane bully.

Her early game is easy to shut down with a gank. This is a team game and must be treated as such with Caitlyn. If you dont think you can come out of lane without feeding her, you need to set up perfect ganking scenarios. Because if Cait dies too early, shes done until late game unless she gets lucky.

Two things. The boards reverts to bitching about certain inherently annoying champions when it runs out of other things to bitch about. The boards has a snowball effect of someone pointing out an issue makes it a larger issue.
