@Any Rioter; Can Zyra's Passive be looked at?

Zyra's passive is a really odd one, it doesn't have much use and in times it does have a use, it still feels lackluster. The passive is only able to be used after Zyra dies, so if a Zyra is doing well she won't ever use her passive. The passive doesn't have much interaction and relies largely on the opponent making a mistake. It has a really poor Missile Width, only can be used after a 2 second delay, and does minimum damage. The only time I see Zyra players ever hit it is because someone has no mobility and is under the effects of hard CC or simply forgot about Zyra's passive. Currently Zyra's passive is:

Rise of the Thorns: Upon taking fatal damage, Zyra returns to her plant form for up to 8 seconds, becoming untargetable. She cannot cast any of her standard abilities while in this state, but can cast Vengeful Thorn. **Vengeful Thorn: ** Zyra fires a single piercing thorn in the direction of the cursor, dealing「 100 - 440 」true damage to every enemy it passes through. (Depending on her current Champion Level)

Zyra's Vengeful Thorn has a Missile Width of 70, a Missile Speed of 1900, and does very little damage. While it does do True Damage, it won't hurt a full build tank at level 18. It is important to remember that the Vengeful Thorn can only be used after a 2 second delay from dying.

I think a major issue with Zyra is that her passive is frankly terrible. With minimum damage and relying totally on the incompetence of an opponent to be hit, relying on Zyra to die to be used, and it also can increase the time Zyra spends dead, it feels overall like she could use a buff to her passive or for it to be totally changed. I would prefer Zyra's passive to help her towards both her Mid and Support role, as her current passive doesn't really fit in as a Support and is still poor for a Mid laner passive anyways.
