Am I the only one who notices the huge Soraka buffs this patch?

Soraka was given huge buffs this patch that not many people seem to notice or talk about on the Boards from what I've seen.

  • Grevious Wounds no longer effect heals on other champions
  • Grevious Wounds lowered from 50% to 40%
  • Intelligence mastery lets her heal be on an extremely low cooldown
  • Windspeaker's Blessing makes her heals 10% stronger and increases their resistances by 15%
  • Runic Armor makes her Q health restore 8% Stronger

These buffs make Soraka's heals significantly stronger, giving herself an extra 18% stronger heal on her Q as well and even making her global ult give her allies 15% more Armor and Magic Resistance. Of course these were indirect buffs similar to how Yasuo and Tryndamere both benefit greatly from Warlord's Bloodlust but I'm shocked barely anyone has complained about her yet. The one time I fought her she basically made her ADC immortal throughout the laning phase.

You're quite late.

Sustain supports did seem to get a buff this preseason, and that's OK with me, even as someone who's not really a big sustain support player.

soraka since her rework has always been able to keep people alive by spamming heal on them, but she is still very vulnerable. If you have someone like VI who can cut through her allies front line and get right to her shes a sitting duck.

Soraka needed a nice buff ( sona also got one ) through these masteries but i feel like it makes her feel more like the healer she use to be, and thats a good thing. I think everyone will admit how tired of the super tank support they are, its good to get a little more diversity back in this game

God forbit she build tanky like before making every engage a loss If you can't kill soraka trying to kill anyone on her team becomes a lot harder

soraka has no means to restore her own HP unless she consistantly lands Qs on enemy players, so she can only heal for so long.

If by stagnation you mean 2 enemy laners who dont even poke one another than sure i can see how its an issue.

You beat soraka lanes by constantly poking their ADC forcing her to burn all her HP healing.

Its strategy that wins lanes, not stagnation making them boring. but hey, what do i know? im not the one going around forums downvoting as if upvotes or downvotes even matter. Keep on keepin on joe dirt

In my opinion, IF she feels too strong it'll be because of Windspeaker's Blessing and Runic Armor, but if something has to be nerfed it should be her.

Windspeakers lets the other supports be better at sustain without having to invest in assloads of AP (Sona, Nami, Janna, Bard), so if Soraka is nerfed then everyone can still use that mastery like they are right now.

And before anyone thinks I hate Soraka or anything she was my second most played champion last season; https://i.gyazo.com/8c1efa76ab68ef1df52f0f1ebeb51467.png I'm just looking out for the other sustain supports that are finally being played more.
