Would it be OP if Murumana procced on AOE abilities?

Now that Murumanas active was changed, it would be possible to let the extra damage work for AOE as well, without risking that your whole mana pool will be eaten if you shoot an Accelerated Shockblast on a minionwave. It would help the same skill stay a little relevant lategame (currently it take >15 % of a typical fullbuild ADC).

A problem would be Ezreals ult, but that was just nerfed. As Murumana functions right now, the poke from Ez benefits from the passive, while Jayce's dont - and that seems a bit unfair. What do you think? Would other AD champs start abusing it? Or would it be a reasonable buff to an underused item?

Jayce needs a lot more than this, a change presumably proposed solely to help Jayce that wouldn't be a surprise if it turned out to be stronger on everybody else except Jayce.

Yeah, i just made (yet another) thread on Jayce. It just seems off that the murumana proc is exclusive to single target abilities, seems like a wierd favoritism towards Ezreal, as he is just about the only champ that can use it beyond AA range

Regarding Jayce, this Murumana change, lowering his Shockblast scaling (150 % AD accelerated), giving him up to 30 % ArmorPen on it via his E, and buffing the W to deal 120 % dmg max rank in exchange for it being unable to crit (or reduced crits) = BOOM balanced

Naaah, I wouldn't say all that is fair. It seems that Muramana gets to be a strong item in exchange for limitations on it's use. It's too much to say it's favoritism because Ezreal is the champ that turns his regular autoattacks into greater ranged but aimed, and longer cd autoattacks, kinda like Gangplank; it's a side-effect of it being Ezreal's shtick.

I'm hesitant toward this idea because it's supposed to be as a buff to Jayce but could have a fallout far beyond him with it being opened up to more champions. Like Corki becomes quite strong off-and-on anyways; would a Muramana build work on him and buff him? Because then, when he is at a strong point, he would be a strong pick that could siege a tower with his team and while firing out a Muramana'd Shockblast up to every 2 seconds. There's a lot things that would happen beyond Jayce with a change like that.

There's a lot of math to consider. Because like accelerating shockblasts takes a lot of mana for a relatively small increase in damage and something like "buffing the W to deal 120 % dmg max rank in exchange for it being unable to crit (or reduced crits)" doesn't help a lot of Jayce builds and would pretty much just be a nerf to Narakyle and the like.
