i'm still trying to understand why we nerfed tp
i get it, it had too much impact, but why is that a bad thing?
and by that logic we should also nerf
since everyone(almost) must take it

yeah i agree
it really was because of at high levels you would see 6-8 tps in a game. restricting possible strategies, simply because you could move almost your entire team to anyone who was alone.

today at high levels you see 9-10 flashes, restricting possible strategies, simply because it's too powerfull and if u don't pick it you're gonna lose to a flash since it can be a teamfight changer.
you see where i'm going?
thats not at all true. name a strategy that taking flash restricts, legitimately.
the strat that tps restricted is any form of split pushing because you will always have atleast 1 person to tp back and deal with the wave.

grats! you just wasted 5 minutes of potential ganking!

EVERY. DAMN. STRATEGY if you didn't take flash.
let me explain: flash helps you:
flash is so powerfull that THERE ARE NO strategies without it.
if it wasn't soo good, explain why everyone picks it
i dont think you seem to get what im saying. split pushing is a stratagy your entire team is built around. like you pick ad kennen with the thought of having him sit in a side lane and take towers while your other 4 is off dealing with their 5. but this doenst work if you can just tp someone to the tower kennen is going for and clearing the wave. making the strategy unusable and forcing all teams at high levels to play for 5v5 teamfights.
flash helping you do things is not "restricting." everyone having flash doesn't keep you from playing anything. where as everyone having tp does keep you from picking split push champions.
im not saying flash isnt good. flash actually allows for less mobile champions to be picked because it gives them the 1 mistake.

not really. teleport doesn't restrict this strategy. it just gives the "1 mistake" for the enemy to deal with the splitpusher.
let's be honest, noone is stopping the 5th player from recalling and going to the tower before kennen reaches it if he paid attention to the map
its not 1 mistake when you have 3 of them you can cycle through.
and not if the strategy is played properly. recalling + walk time to a teir 2 turret is like 25 seconds, where a tp is 4 seconds. now your 4 man can fight their 4 man, while kennen is either continuing to push during this 25 second period or he can join your team making it a 5v4 in your favor while that person is still walking. now that second option is also gone if the person who recalled has tp, because if they see kennen leave to join his team, he can just tp and join to.

you're just stating what tp is used for, but again. that doesn't mean it's busted or is too strong.
let's see the possibilities in the situation u stated.
kennen, like many splitpushers have higher than average mobility > he sees the teleport coming and decides to go to his team to win a 5v4 > if the enemy noticed this and canceled his tp, kennen continues pushing. if he didn't. kennen's team wins a 5v4.
you seem to think his team is like on mid tier 2 and hes on bottom tier 2, it would be more like his teams around baron and hes on bottom tier 2. the run time from bot to baron as kennen is 15-20 seconds. with only 1 on your team that would work you burn the tp and then kennen can go split push, but with 3 it doesnt work because that is multiple minuets of baiting to get out all 3 of them and the first one used is coming back up in a 1 min.
your speeding things up in your head. it takes way longer then you seem to think to do this stuff.
riot wanted adcs to stop taking tp. that was the main goal of the nerf. outside of restricting split push as a strat, it also made for bot lane to be all or nothing with fights, because you couldnt poke someone out, as they would just tp back in.

it's an amazing strategy. make the enemy team lose thier tp and your team can easily win a 4v4.
given the fact that tp is taken as a mobility spell, and your team have a combad spell instead of tp(ignite, exhaust, everythinh else) u may just won your team the game.
plus even if the walking time is 1 minute, you'll still be at least 5 seconds ahead of your enemy, and 5 seconds is where most teamfights are decided
look im only plat 2, ive stated all the reasons and why so many tps were taken at high elo and pro play. i do not know all of the intricacies of how to play split push well and how tp is used, but what im saying are the facts and reasons to why it was like that. the people who used these strategies are much better then you or i. many of these people think that with the nerf to tp at lower elos, it should now almost never be taken by anyone because it is to slow. i dont know how else to explain as to why it was nerfed. those are the reasons, i guess take it or leave it.
It took away a lot of early game weaknesses, even for the ADCs who are suppose to be weak. And even after the nerf, they still use it for the same reasons. And because of the early game death timers, you could die, respawn, and return straight to lane with almost no cs lost.
