Kog maw jungle is the stupidest fucking shit I've faced since the removal of devourer

MunchCrunchLunch··16 votes·1,640 views

what the hell is this shit? its literally the same thing as the devourer rageblade yi only with range since rageblade is obsolete on melees now. kog maw stacks up the rageblade in about a cpl seconds from 600+ range.

ever since devourer removal we haven't had anyone coming out of the jungle and shredding you with mixed damage that is impossible to itemize against. i mean shit our sion was melted in 2-3 seconds to this kog. and we put him behind early.

it wasn';t even late game. mid game 3 items and nobody can do anything.

ridiculous stuff kog jungle is

Protip: Jungle Kog will ALWAYS start at Krugs and his clear is absolutely crippled without Heavy Hands. Steal the buff and make his life hell.

This explains a lot. How could Kog even survive the Jungle? It was the smite buff.

yea you can just walk up to it and smite the krug before he does and steal its buff

thouhg he can arguable still go well with redbuff

Kog still clears just as quickly without Heavy Hands, but he takes far more damage and it makes him more vulnerable to counter-jungling. Also makes any ganks he tries to pull off more risky. You treat Kog more or less like you would any farm-focused jungler. Ruin his start and put pressure on his lanes until his team is heckling him for being useless.

Everyone saying to counterjungle/invade him...his W+Q essentially prevents that before junglers have items. He clears quicker than you think too.

The best way to handle Kog is to cripple his early game. The only reason he functions is Krug buff. All you have to do is invade when his Krug is spawning (he WILL be starting there), and smite it instantly as it spawns before he can. Doesn't matter if you get the kill...if you take the buff, which only applies on first smite, he's set insanely far back. Just do your own krugs->wraiths->wolves->gromp, recall, Krugs -> red -> wraiths -> wolves -> blue -> Gromp, and you'll be level 6 and not be set back by your smite 'wasting' and walking time. You can easily take the scuttles too, since you'll be 2 levels above kog, and he'll have no damage, easily bullying him off if he tries to take it for a no-damage gold camp.

i dont see why the support can't help him with red buff.

WoonStruck1 votes

He still can't clear other camps well; it'd slow him down a lot, he'd take a lot of damage doing Krugs still, and if support helps him, congrats, you just translated an insane advantage to bot lane.

Lol. Except the hideous clears and that the enemy support could probably invade his jungle.

Kog is designed to be strong late game... Just invade and bully him while he's weak then snowball off the advantage.

2-3 items isn't late game. thats ridiculous.

Kog spikes really hard at 2 items and does well at 3 items. He actually does less damage than crit ADCs like Jinx and Twitch at 5 or 6 items. He just does ridiculous damage with Bloodrazor, Runaan's, and Wit's End or Rageblade. Most kog's just build defensive items after that (like item 3026 ).

Ever since his rework he has been more of a monster in the mid game than a late game champ since on hit items don't require as many multipliers as crit items.

Time to start banning, it's honestly the only way to deal with that bullshit. Pretty much ranged Master Yi

Even if he gets behind if he gets only a little bit of peel with basic knowledge on how to kite it's literally impossible to win against it.

kite? i think you mean stand still.

The amount of attack speed you build up means kiting would actually lower your dps.

who can even dive him. he literally can dps down a 250 mr 250 armor poppy before she gets to him with her E. once her procs rageblade.

I still dont understand why Riot thought Devourer was a good idea.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8Ey7bmH2t0 Step 1 (5)) Turn this song on. Step 2) See {Kog'Maw} being picked Step 3) Respond by telling yourself or a team-mate to pick a champ with CC Step 4) Wait for the game to start Step 5) CC THAT MOTHERFUCKER EVERYTIME HE TRIES EAT SHIT YOU FUCKIn RABBIDKSsadkaogDAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

But like no really, Kog Maw JG is really easy to deal with, either stop him getting Krugs early or just CC and or dive for him. Not that hard IMO.

Stop letting him free-farm? He's one of the easiest junglers to gank. He has no escape, no CC, and no real skirmishing power for the first like 6-9 levels.

Troll for Trump2 votes

You don't really "gank" a jgl. There's counter jgling, but: That depends on the champion, that depends on your jgler's compliance to do so, and, in the case of kog, you'll probably have to give up on ganking altogether if you want to starve him. Something like Nunu would be a great counterpick

Don't wanna say anything bad but..

Sions usually do melt in 2-3 seconds. Even from minion wave. That's like.. nothing uncommon..
