Maybe it's just me, but I actually really like how balance is right now.

I feel like riot has addressed a lot of issues with the state of the game(Not talking about DQ).

Turrets have been buffed and are actually a threat right now. They as well are not stopping people from diving. Death Timers are much MUCH better now, and a game is no longer decided on one fight. Sated Devourer has been removed and Guinsoos' isn't nearly as toxic. Frustrating champions are being hit(Zed, Tank Ekko, Graves to an extent, Fizz now, Lucian). Mages aren't too overbearing and the itemization has been beneficial. Dragons are creating an interesting way of playing the game. Changes for support XP are on their way.

I am also left in the place where I can ban annoying champions verse champions who HAVE to be banned. This is not something that's happened before.

Maybe it's just me, but cudos to the balance team. +1

Everyone has a different balance preference. Just remember how this feels, because the next time the game shifts in a way you don't like there will be people who actually enjoy it, just as there are people who dislike the balance you're enjoying now.

Very much true. And as I said, it might just be me. Can you tell me what you're thinking?

Personally I've had various complaints ever since my favorite state of game balance ended back in season 3. My current issues are with the balance between offense and defense and the current state of kiting.

I've learned to live with it though. There were problems back then that my memory has glossed over, so nothing will ever end up comparing to how it "was". Comparing the current state of the game to what I remember is simply a fools errand.

In any case there's always a silver lining if you're willing to put the effort in to find it. Things will always change, so at the very least there's always hope of the next set of changes favoring you.

I do agree, and I have been having a lot of fun with league. There are a few balance outliers, but that is just going to happen in a game with dozens of items and champions, each with their own strengths, weaknesses, playstyles, and roles.

Zed still needs to be hit harder, and Volibear needs to get hit with a hammer or axe from the balance team, but they are getting to a non-bullshit meta.

Zed is only good against 1 v 1 nontanks. He's not good in teamfights.

The problem is that zed can splitpush like a god, does not need to team fight and his ult with or without duskblade does ludicrous damage that only mages and tanks can counter. Any one who can't build banshee's or zhonya's can not counter it since the QSS change. And banshee's is easy to deal with by procing it with a q.

True. I think part of the problem is that hourglass is the only item with stasis, which is the only effective way to counter zed

i don't mind this season, however i preferred season 3. I will state though i don't like how restrictive my build path appears as a mage. Compared to previous seasons.

It is just you.

Yep just you. The decision making at riot since the start of season 5 has been absolutely garbage. They completely ignore the fan base/community. There's a million things they are doing wrong and none of it ever gets fixed. Theyre losing loyal long time players left and riot and are making poor, rash decisions to try to bring casual players in. This game started its decline in season 5 and it will continue to happen

It's just you. Here's another down vote, since that's what you had to have been going for.

ShadowParker1 votes

It's not what I'm going for. As I said in the title "maybe it's just me". And I provided some evidence to back up my point.

So instead of downvoting, can you give some reasons as to what's wrong with balance?

Faith Breaker1 votes

You and your duo friend both Gold whatever, with 3 solo randoms unranked to silver, going up against Plat to Master tier enemies. That isn't balance. The game, itself, the in game mechnics are wonderful.

The fact that Riot sets up matches that you literally are garunteed to lose, is no balanced. Explain to me the fairness of 3 solo unranked and a silver/gold going up against Diamond and Plats.

=) Go for it.

I also stated in my post that I wasn't talking about Dynamic Queue. I'm talking about the game itself.

Anything else?
