143 champions in the game, and still only a maximum of 10 bans / game?

Each team gets five bans, but in 99% of the games I play, both teams bans at least 1 same champion. So it more or less isn't even 10 bans.

143 champions currently exists in the game, yet we get these few bans? Let each team ban 5 champions, without any doublebanning. Also, each team should vote for a 6th champ to be banned, which would increase the banned champs to 12. I think that's a more fair number.

There's only a handful champions that are really strong in each meta, if you are able to ban all of them what's the point of champion buffs and viability if they'll get banned as soon as their pick rate goes up.

10 bans is enough but i do kinda think that the ban system isnt very good because its just mainly used to ban whats strong/meta or whats broken/OP rather than banning strategically imo

There aren't enough bans to ban strategically when there are so many broken champions in the game. Need more bans to do both.

We should just remove overlapping bans. The system is awful and you feel like you wasted a ban when you see the enemy banned almost the same champs as you.

10 bans are enough for a good game. The problem if there are too many "must ban" champions like Vayne, Riven, and Kayle. There are just too many champs where if you don't ban them, you'll lose or at least have a bad time. 143 champions and cutting off 10 of them from being played equals out to about 1/14th of the champions not being able to be played. And while there are still 134+ champions that can be played, a majority of those champions aren't great...like no one bans Gragas, but no one fucking plays him right now soooooo.
