Wukong is sick of the counters in lane

Just about every champion played top lane counters Wukong. Every single game I am forced to respect the enemy laner and play safe. Not often enough do I get help from the jungler although I am pushed to my tower. Champions like Darius, Illaio, Garen, Tryndamere, and more will eventually dive me when I try to go for CS under the tower! I almost always find myself having half their CS by the end of lane. I would have about 5-6 cs/m while they have like 8-9 cs/m because I can't do anything about it. Honestly, if you want to feel anger in your bones main wukong for 50 games. It is honestly depressing. This is coming from someone who has played over 1000 ranked games with Wukong.

Seriously though, play him for some games if you think i'm over reacting. Add me I'd love to spectate.

EDIT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uMVioHlJc3A Watch this Diamond Wukong OTP talk on the game from Wukong's perspective.

I think it's an issue with his current kit design of him fitting the criteria of a Diver. Once he Dives someone he doesn't really have an escape.

Wukong is a massive contradiction.

A tanks passive, yet he is useless as a tank only resorting to utility with his ult, because he does not have high base damage, or health % damage. Even with the passive he is still squishy, because he has no sustain and only gets decent stats In a teamfight.

An armor shredding Q, yet he gets out traded by just about every top laner.

An AP scaling W. facepalm

AD scalings which causes just about everyone to build him as an assassin.

He is actually good mid-late game, but only if you survive the lane phase unscathed. Which is extremely frustrating most games.

Playing Wukong can be very rewarding after building a couple items and roaming, but it can be very difficult to get through the earlier laning phase without falling behind. I would suggest looking up videos and tutorials of how to freeze your lane just before your turret. Mastering that tactic will keep the enemy laner in a perfect position for ganks and put you within the safety of your turret. You cannot control what your jungler decides to do, but at least you can do your best to make a favorable situation for yourself.

Good luck!

It doesn't help when its a Darius Who pulls you when you go for a creep. Best you can do is try to bait it without getting caught out. Or a Garen who Will Q you for 1/4 your hp. Or Illiao who will tentacle slam your ass for 1/4 hp. Or the Renekton slice and dice, stun, Q for 1/3 your hp. Lol its tough, even if you are playing it safe and freezing lane which I am forced to resort to most games, it can still be really hard. Which is really disheartening.
