7 out of my 20 latest NB games are a complete stomps. And there is more to it...

It does not depend on character picks or anything else. It's just one team being better in everything than other one. There is also around 5 or 6 games with slithgly different picture: stomped team have a good player, and stomping have a bad one. So, the majority of my games are boring, one-sided stomps that pose no challenge at all... Why? Why does matchmaking puts 5 better players against 5 weaker ones on purpose? Is it the only way to stop winning or losing streak in team games? Some proofs now:

This is why i also think that granting chests for S rank is stupid. It does not mean you played good, it just means that you had enough luck to be in the stomping team, that's all. If you had an opponents that play at least same good as you do - your score would be close to 10-10, instead of 10-1. Why rank system rewards players for beating weak opponents?

Nexus Blitz is awful, winning or losing:

14 - 35 45 - 31 15 - 32 48 - 20 ...

I understand this mode is "peculiar", but this disgusting pattern is incredibly bad.

Wanna talk about Normals?

11-27 37-25 (10k gold difference!) 24-38 (guess this is the best we can afford?) 43-18 18-36 30-10 35-33 (still 7k gold difference) 28-14 17-30

https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/general-discussion/0zXlGwUW-normals-are-awful-to-play-basically-never-a-balanced-match

It's not only all the broken stuff (champions/items/runes); it's also about a flawed/rigged matchmaking. Basically not existent.

No company should allow this kind of incompetence, if they don't want to go out of business. Actually, they've already lost so many players, and I guess they are now in a pretty worse condition. Well deserved, btw.

loose matchmaking system.... + "too much damage" makes the perfect combination for potentially catastrophic matches

Well it's a mode for stomping and short matches anyway , that's something you should have already known before playing It's all about those Events , win them and the winning team gets a huge advantage , You still have hope for second event if you lose the first one , but losing first and second event means it's a gg and the winning team will stomp , you can still win if enemy team doesn't end , by attacking that moving nexus

I actually had losing matches where we completely got stomped but still won because we focused the Nexus

What champions you have does matter there are busted and terrible champs in the mode. It is mostly about which team has people who know how the game mode works though. When the junglers don't know how the xp and gold sharing or pathing works or when the laners don't match numbers and roam after pushing waves in or help junglers secure buffs. When people play way too passively and don't all in to secure kills on the on fire enemies.

After the balance changes they made steamrolling mostly happens because of level and gold difference created by those scenarios. Where your team is playing the mode incorrectly and gets down a level or two and doesn't do everything they can to kill the one enemy who is on fire and now suddenly there are two or three and the game is just over.

It does not depend on character picks or anything else.

Yes it always does matter on champion picks and teamcomps regardless of game mode but thankfully the majority of the champions are viable in nexus blitz anyways.

So in what way is it any different to normal games or aram? It has its own MMR and people can go 4 or 5 man premade if they want and just stomp everything since the game can't always account for it and give them premade opponents. Some people don't understand how it works, others dont even try or don't take it seriously. There are many reasons for a stompy game.

On the flipside that Nexus Deathmatch can go both ways. I've stomped people before and we lost in that phase because the enemy got one good teamfight in and vice versa.

Yeah, matchmaking in NB and normals is a vicious circle... I keep telling myself that if I lose enough I'll stop getting diamonds and plats in my games - then I get them on my team, get carried, stomped, rinse, repeat :O

I'm afraid we all started NB at 1200 MMR so it's gonna take some time till matchmaking fixes itself. My only concern is that low elo players might get frustrated, stop playing and Riot will conclude that we don't like the mode enough to make it permanent :(

Yeah... I've noticed this as well. Some of the events will also completely tip the scales instantly, such as Battle Sled, if they manage to get it as their fist event win.

IT's either a complete stomp, or a complete fail. Extremely rarely does it come to the wire.

i mean NB snowballs harder than normals do since you get even MORE damage if you get ahead with that buff
